Course Curriculum Overview

3

Courses is good and college curriculum is well maintained by jadavpur authority. The Areas of washroom and gatesides should be improved well. The Laboratory equipments should get changed so that all can use them well.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are very nice internship oppurtunities available in JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY because at a very low fees and good education, there is a high chance of getting good placements by well known companies like Adobe, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, Google, and many more.

Placement Experience

4

No student who completes the course is unemployed and placement rate is 90% for this college and I am proud of being a student of this college. I planned to get more oppurtunities to get into Jadavpur Universsities Placement to other companies like adobe, microsoft and google.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees of Jadavpur University is too low that any one can afford it but all it requires a good rank in WBJEE Examination. The Tution Fees for B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering is Rs.4000 per year, and for the complete course of 4 years, the fees is Rs.16000. It includes all kinds of fees except hostel charges. I think it is the best college because it matches the level of placement given by Top IITs. For other low categories and tution waivers the fees goes till Rs.10000 of the complete course. This is the university of West Bengal, so students get scholarships like Aikyashree and SVMC of 20000 per year. Thank you.

Campus Life

3

I have just taken admission in Jadavpur University so I have less experience regarding the campus life but it is quite nice than I heard before. It is well maintained and clean. Events are less but interesting. Classroom are facilated with good environment where learning is always given great priority. Sports and extracurricular activities like cricket, football and badminton are more priortized.

Admission

I applied in this college because it is affordable and give much placement than others. I think it will give much better oppurtunities to students for better placements. I got rejected from NIT Durgapur because my JEE Mains Rank was not good enough. For getting admission into Jadavpur University, B.Tech Courses, one should score under 800 Rank in WBJEE and 60% in Boards.

Faculty

4

Faculty student relation is good and everyone is good there. Prof. abdul is good and Dr. ajitva is the best one. The examination system is good and all semesters are done well. Correct amount of negative and positive markings is given here and no unfair means is done among faculties of passing.

Night Life

3

There are 2 gyms and 3 cafes in the campus with all equipments are available. The Cafes have good quality food items and the behaviour is good. I dont go to hostel so I dont know the timings well but they look quite clean and good. The best experience are of sitting near the lake and under the shade of tree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Regarding examination the frequency is generally acceptable but the timing sometimes overlaps with project submission, creating unnecessary pressure. Exam duration is of 3hrs They should focus more on building projects which can be helpful for students Labs are modern and well equipped In terms of teaching methods a shift towards interactive learning, problem based assignments, hackathons and collaborative projects could make the learning experience more impactful. More emphasis on research and innovation at the undergraduate level could also encourage academic pursuits.
