Likes
- We have both western and Indian dance societies in Enigma and Nupur where Enigma is western dande society and Nupur is Indian dande society.
- Our college is spread in 10 acres and main blocks has library as well as classes, so we don't have to wander much.
- We also have a chaupal session and many political debates have taken place there.
Dislikes
- We don't have our own hostel and therefore I have to live in a private hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
When we talk of KNC New Delhi, the first thing or the first course that one can imagine is BA in Psychology. Yes, after LSR we are among the top choice DU college for Psychology. Our course is very much superior as I have my friends in MCC Bangalore and we have content which is 10x superior to them.
Internships Opportunities
Many corporate houses as I am still in my second year and hopefully I will get internships from this year. Majorly if it is outside Delhi, the stipend is 10-12k and also accomodation facilities and all.
Placement Experience
In BA Hons Psychology around 40-50% students gets job. Psychology students are used as professors or as mentors in corporate. So corporate houses that have joined hands with KNC are Adani Group, Bhel, and Lenskart among others.
Fees and Financial Aid
KNC New Delhi which is close to Gargi College may not be as famous as Gargi College but still we charge less fees and have more courses then them. For my four year course the fees is around 13k a year. In short in just 50k, i will have a graduate degree from DU's finest college. I don't think this is possible elsewhere but only with DU affiliated colleges.
Campus Life
Campus is 10 acres or so and in that we have many sports like Badminton courts, football ground and volleyball nets too. So, we are well facilitated and beyond that, we have a great library and open gardens too. Our annual fest is Ullas and some of the top societies of our college includes, Wide Angle which is a film making society. Then we have an English Debate club called Crossfire and the club has organized some of the best debates among DU colleges.
Admission
In DU, there is no point asking this as the process is same for all 70+ DU colleges. It's a lovely unit and the way it happens it's just magnificent. Everything is mentioned in the form which is a centralised form and with results, we also know the colleges that we can get under our CUET entrance score.
Faculty
KNC faculties are not just KNC faculties but have contributed in DU as well. So expertise of their as in Psychology reading and understanding is what makes the subject. One may call this as a hobby subject but for me learning human psychology was my dream and luckily faculties of our college has made us believe in that dream.
Night Life
In Delhi and that too in commercial area like ours, Nightlife for girls definitely not a great idea. By 5pm we are free from the college and we mostly go for movies in Ansal Plaza or try Cane Juice or Pani Puri near Green Park metro station.
