Course Curriculum Overview

The things that influenced me to join this course (DNS) are that its a very simple, short, clear course Which is simply focused on providing the learnings which will be practically used on board ship It will allow me to start earning 60 to 80 k per month after just one year of the course The course is very easy u just need to get the sponsorship from the company before hand to do this course

Internships Opportunities

4

There are a lot of companies coming in like synergy dynacom, Jemico, Imec is a group of companies and many many others. The stipend differs from 30000 to 70000. You go through interviews and sometimes exams and after completion of course if bsc then 3yrs and dns is sponsored already by companies before college. But the roles is same as a deck cadet on ship. For 12 months as a bsc cadet and 18 months as an ADNS cadet

Admission

I applied for imu chennai, but I couldn't go there because of my IMU CET rank but I have no regrets as this college is very well disciplined and maintained with amazing teachers and tech giving us the experience of the routine ofa real ship The company u will get the sponsorship from might alot u this college for me it was synergy U can also join this for other course like bsc gme eto etc

Faculty

5

The faculty are one of the best thing in this campus tgey are very friendly and ready to help The provide great knowledge which they have gained from their experience They try to make the class intractive and more fun for us Some of my favourite faculty are Capt Ravindran sir Capt himanshu sir Capt vishal sir We have 2 sem in our course of 6 months First sem having 5 subjects and 3 prac Second sem having 7 subjects 4 prac Exams are easy to clear only 4 people failed in my batch for sem 1

Night Life

1

The Campus has a gym with not much but necessary equipments and there is a canteen with very limited options like chicken noodles. But they are trying to improve the state of canteen and gym. The campus not huge but it has good places to walk around like muster station, Parents waiting hall, main road, galley road, but we can't go outside college as it's permitted only on Sundays to 6pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc computer science because I'm interested in IT jobs and want become a developer. The syllabus is useful for real world learning and it covers important basics. i found subjects like c programming very helpful for understanding core concepts. the curriculum is decent but it needs more practical sessions and better lab facilities. the software and systems in the lab should also be updated. we follow a semester system, and the exams test both theory and practical knowledge. overall the course is good, but more hands on training would make it even better.
