Likes
- The college is far from my hometown and i where stayed out side the hostel, so I got some life experience, that only I liked.
- I got some Kerala staffs with good mindset.
- Some of our tamil staffs also very friendly.
Dislikes
- Worst syllabus,- the outer looks good. But didn't get sufficient knowledge
- Most of the tamil staffs don't like malayali students. They treat us like bad people.
- Cultural difference, they mindset is still like 19s kids, even though they have knowledge, still there mindset is in 19s.
Course Curriculum Overview
The outer syllubus of curiculam is good , but th ecore is very few, and the real time parctical knowledge is very week as compareed with the hype t. Now i actualy hesitating for taking the course, That much fees is very high . Maximum 1 lakh is enogh for thet knowlege. Nowadays more knowledghe is available on youtube as compare with there syllabus
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually my fees is 300000/- . But my friends are paying from 3.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs, how the difference come from is based on the time of admission, I was took my admission early , that time they didn't expect that much admissions in that batch because pervious batch has nearly 30-40 students,(first batch). So they set that fees as 3 lakhs, later some agencies are bringing students most of them from Kerala, so they got sufficient students, because of that they increased the amount of fees. Even some of my fees is 4 lakhs. I my opinion that is not that much worth., personally I took 3.5 lakhs education loan for that fees. But I regret about that.
Campus Life
Overall experice about the capmus is very bad, If you are from tamilnadu , you may treat well, if you are from kerala, i will never suggest you to get admisson, About festivals , the main festivel the celebrating is pongal, in our time due our conbtinus reqest they accept to do onam celebration, but only malayali sudents paricipated in it.
Admission
Actally i applied this colage vbecause of this course, i before that i dont have any knowlegde about this atmosphere , If iwas already aware about this collage i will never join. One more thing i pass out from there at 2023 , still i didnt get my final certificate.(I dont have any backlogs)
Faculty
Actuyally i like our department faculties, because most of them are from kerala, the are mostly friendly, About exams - because of autonomus, the exams are propelry conducting on time, ans also publishing in correct time, but i want to share an experence with you, i my second last sem i got faild in a subject becuase of there fault, i was sure thet i will pass the exam, so i applied for taking xerox of my papper--that time when i check the paper i realised that , that is not my answer paper, they explained that it was happed accidently, i check for my orjinal answer sheet , after getting the orginal answer sheet i calculated each mark they put on my answrs and understand i got more than pass mark, so they changed the mark when the relavualtion marks publish.
Interview Experience
No I did have any type of tests, they only talk about the fees . And informed me to pay 50000 for taking admission in Sree Saraswati Thyagaraja College. Didn't have any group discussion and didn't have any interview processes.
Night Life
Actually collage is situated in a side of pollachi - palani highway, even though it is a high way , it actually like a desert, only few shops are available, i cleary need to mention thet- the food in that area is very bad, , dont think about night life if you are in collage hostal, and if you are staing out side at leat you need to go to coimbatore, 60 km from there for getting a minumum night life
