coimbatore marine college- a short review

Joining merchant navy is my passion and this course iof BSc Nautical science gives an oppurtunity to become a deck officer on a ship this curriculum and syllabus what we have gives us the theoretical knowledge about what we work onboard ship there should be more practical teaching required for our course

yes there are placements in our college for girls they provide placement from MAERSK comapany in 1 semester itself for other cadets they provide in their last semester of their course MAERSK MOL NYK ANGLO EASTERN SYNERGY EASTWAY are some of the main comapnies come for placements in our college percentage of students getting placed in every batch is less than 25%

yearly our fees for bsc nautical science is around 300000 lakh per year it includes every fees tution fee mess fee which is 60000 rs and 12400rs respectively per term and in a year it has 4 terms ther is merit scholarship available for girl cadets and those who scored above certain percentage in their 12th Std

there are not much extra cultural activities conducted in our college there are not adequate books required for every student in our college library holi,diwali,onam,christmas,pongal are the celebrations are happeneing every year in our college tehey also conduct annual sports meet in our college there many clubs like eco club movie club etc running by students of our college

there is two fan and lights with cots and cupboards in a room rooms are okayin hostel but bathrooms are not upto the mark meal quality which they provide will not be same everytimeit differs but its is not worth for what we pay registration process for hostel and other affordability includes in our admission process itself no outside hostel are allowed for this college

i chose CMC because compared to other college which i apllied this college fee was quite okay and it was easily accesible from my home i applied for AMET college chennai and got confirmed admission from there i didn't get rejected from any colleges i applied you need to clear IMUCET exam to join in this college for BSc course and u shoukd have 50% in your english and more than 65% in your PCM in your higher secondary studies this is the eligibilty criteria for joiing CMC

ther are totally about 50 to 60 teaching and non teaching faculties all the faculties are quite good and friendly with students SUNIL capt he is a very knowledgeable teacher in our department he is our mentor there was one faculty mr.dhinakaran who teaches english for us who is not a good guy we get exams for every semester and 2 internal exams per semester

we are not allowed to go out of the college campus without permission it is very strict in our college in this part there are canteen gym inside campus and also a saloon a for haircut there is not any hangout places inside our college campus it is not very much attractive or good infrastructure we are not allowed to roam around campus on night time
