Coimbatore marine college - a best marine college

For BTech the syllabus is provided by IMU Under the guidance of Director general of shipping. So the syllabus is with great knowledge. The faculty in our college are mostly senior professor and many of faculty are sailors like chief engineer and captain. So they teach a lot about ship and share their own experience which is very useful to students. The faculty are with good knowledge and they teach with good manner. The syllabus was designed to get practical knowledge about ship engine and other equipment. The lab faculty will teach you lot to gain a practical knowledge.

In our college no need to worry about internship. Our college will help you lot in intership. Our senior was attend a intership for 4 to 5 time at 3rd year and 4th Year of this course. They perform their intership in top company.b

After 5 th semester students are become eligible for campus placement. In fifth semester itself we can start for campus placement. Many top company such as maskline, Anglo eastern , MSC, Evergreen are visiting our college. And offer a job for 70% of students of our college. In our college 10lakh per annum is highest package for traine marine engineer job in evergreen company. About 70 to 80 percentage of the students are placed per year. I'm also appear for interview in my 5 th semester.

The course fee is very low compared to other marine colleges. For this course 200000 including hostel fees and course fee per year. This is 4 year course totally 800000 to complete this course. And mess fee as 11400 for 3 month. This course is a type of regimental course so you need to stay in hostel inside a campus. The scholarship is available for sc st category people . The employment opportunities was not much good. The placement was in moderate level. But they provide 100% placement assistance . Many top company are providing placement in this college. In our college there is placement cell which helps to get placement in top company.

You can really enjoy a college life. Many festival are celebrating in very grand manner. Onam , Ganesh chaturthi, are celebrated very grandly. Every celebration in our college must with dance. Holi is one of top celebration in our college it includes DJ programs. The student of our college will really enjoy all the celebration. Our college library have a lot of book in large stock . The latest boks and oldest edition of same book is available for our reference . And our college have digital library also. Many sports events are available in our College . Our college will conduct a sports day and conduct various kind of sports. Daily evening we have sports class to maintain our body actively. And In morning 5o lock also we have pt class. In our we have many commitments which are lead only by students it helps to develop leadership skills in us . The faculties are teach with help of digital tools and with animation this will helps the student to understand clearly.

Hostel are constructed with good environment surrounding. Each room 4 member with two study table, fan , light , two wardrobes and they provide bed , bed spread ,bed sheet, pillow cover , pillow for each person and they will provide college uniform and sports uniform includes sports shoes and black shoes with socks . One water purifier for each floor. One tv in each floor. The meal quality is good. The menu is constantly repeating . You need to eat repeatly same kind of meals . The food is prepared hygiene and cleanly. You need to pay 11400 as mess fee for 3 month.

Elegibility for this course: 60% in PCM and 50% in English The candidate must secure an rank in imucet exam. And the candidate my pass the medical test. Addmission link was available in college link . If you apply for this course in this college they will guide you for an imucet exam. You must clear IMU cet exam . Imucet exam is not much difficult it is moderate level exam only. Candidate are need to apply for exam by their own. This exam was conducted once one time in a year. If you fail to apply you need to wait for another one year. In Coimbatore marine college the collect 15000 as during registration in the college. And for exam your needs to pay 1000. This exam was conducted by IMU which was under control of central government
