Course Curriculum Overview

The decision to choose this course is largely influenced by my earlier carrier passion which led me to choose this course It offers me a theoretical and practical knowledge about ships and sea It is the developing field in world trade Exams for our course are quite difficult but if we study properly we can clear it

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college they are charging around totally 3 lakh per year for my BSc Nautical science course As tution fee -60000 per term (4 terms) Mess fee-12400 per term(4 terms) Scholarship is there for only some basis not for everyone

Campus Life

In our CMC they usually dont conduct celebrations But they conduct some festival celebrations in our college like Diwali,onam,holi etc.. They also conduct annual sports meet in our college Classrooms are not air conditioned and they got one TV and cupboard within every classes There specific clubs like eco club,movie club and other active clubs

Admission

Actually I applied for AMET college in chennai and i got selected for its MAERSK Interview but this college I selected because of accessibility and its fee structure I didn't get rejected from any college i have applied Admission process consisting of some eligibility criteria like marks and some required documents for admission

Faculty

Every faculties in our college are friendly type,their relationship with students are good Nair sir who is our parade commander is a very nice guy There was one faculty who was our englisg teacher Mr.Dhinakaran There are 2 internal exams and 1 Sem exam on a semester

Night Life

Actually in our campus there is a college cafeteria inside campus which is good Other than that there is no hangout places in our college We are not allowed to go out of college campus untill allowed or without permission There is outing on Wednesday and sunday on that time we are allowed to go out amd enjoy

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

COIMBATORE MARINE COLLEGE TRUTHS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

coimbatore marine college- a short review

i chose CMC because compared to other college which i apllied this college fee was quite okay and it was easily accesible from my home i applied for AMET college chennai and got confirmed admission from there i didn't get rejected from any colleges i applied you need to clear IMUCET exam to join in this college for BSc course and u shoukd have 50% in your english and more than 65% in your PCM in your higher secondary studies this is the eligibilty criteria for joiing CMC...Read More

Reality of marine field

Its not about the rejection in other colleges it's about fees in tamilnadu compared to other colleges the cmc is best for studies in affordable fees. And also there will be imucet entrance exam the students have to clear that the they allow you to the college. For me it's about last rank in passed students still the cmc took me for studies they won't see rank. And like other colleges it's not 100 percent placement.placement is there if you are skilled and studying student the job is yours.and same the college infrastructure is also a reason for choosing this college it will be look like a ship very attractive and another reason is coimbatore climate near kerala so the climate Will be nice....Read More
