Likes
- The opportunities to meet new people and interact with a whole new circle of people by Club Activities as there are quite a lot of clubs according to the student's interest.
- Many places to showcase our singing and dancing talent once we join the club or take part in any of the department events.
- They have multiple labs for a single department so that the students get a lot of hands on training for coding and as well as hardware.
Dislikes
- 4:3 Ratio of Girls to Boys in my class and i hope it's the same for all the departments as well.
- The college timing can go from 8:30 AM to 5:10PM.
- The 75% attendance is kind of doable and maintainable to an extent.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is both relavant and comprehensive for a engineering background and all the courses have moderate difficulty and it is possuble to complete it without backlogs as well with quite a bit of preparation and then i chose this as i can go to a mba or business background after i complete the course then real world applications have been informed to the studnets well and even where to apply and use it. Some areas of improvement could be on the structure way of keeping syllabus to the students could have a better onoline portal. the CA is for 1.5 hours 2 questions and Semester is 3 hours with 5 questions.
Internships Opportunities
Not much internships are offered by the college but the students can easily get internships mentioning the name of the prestigious institution and Projects and research papers are also very much welcomed by the staffs.
Placement Experience
about 70 to 80 percent of the students get placed afdter the colleg and the ones not placed also gets placed after the college with high network and communication from other contacts within the college, ZOHO Corp does take placements and i am preparing for my CAT exams as i am planning for My highers at IIM, 5th semester is when the students become eligible for the campus placements and the seniors are a good connection who help to get places and get a job after the completion of degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
First of all, Getting into a well known College like The PSG College of Technology is possible by Joining our Course B.Sc. CSD. The fees for the 1st Semester is 70k then following semesters will have 40K so, for a total of 6 Semesters the fees is approximately about 2.7L. There is a small possibility that the price could be increasing in the following years as i have heard from my juniors. There are many scholarships which can be very easily availed through the college website and even directly at the admin office. Thanks to the easy accesibility.
Campus Life
We have 2 events namely Kriya and intrams then with a lot of department events , our department event is called as INFINITY which happens during feb or march and overall campus life is great with a lot of connections clubs and library and food. There is a wide collection of books and good infrastructure of the way to claim the library books. the computers provided in the lab is very good and speedy. Sports and extracurricular reachability or accessibility is high and the students interested for it can easily get involved in the activituies. There are a lot of student run groups and clubs for entertainment as well as fitness and fun, they make the campus life more cherishable.
Admission
I applied for Eshwar college for B.Tech AI & DS, then moved here due to capitation high there and also i had idea of doing mba rather than facing the computer and sitting the rest of my life, eventhough i got confirmed admission there i applied here and i joined here. The name itself is a reason why i chose this college asn i did not face any rejections the students attend a interview process to get selected.
Faculty
The faculty sand student ratio is fine and in our department we have a bit more than 50 faculty, All the faculty are approchable and friendly always. either its studies or even normal councelling they are always available. There are not many faculties that i dislike as every one are friendly and chill going. Their expertise is high and even their experience as well. i have zero backlogs as it is just easy to clear if we follow their instructions well. we have 6 Semesters and 2 Continuous assesment during each semester it happens for 3 days for 5 subjects morning even 2 days and 3rd day morning. Then we have semester exams which happen at proper intervals with adequate stusy leaves.
Night Life
There quite a bit of cafe gym and shops around the college and it is very reachable and the boys hostel is also open until 9 PM, There is NM Bakery and Racecourse and lakshmi mills which is a major Hub. Even within the college we can meet many people and fun mall is also nearby it is very easy to do fun activities with many ways to chill down. The college campus is very much proximity near the major hubs and many shops cafes and malls are nearbty.
