Course Curriculum Overview
The courses offered are regularly updated according to industry standards to ensure the curriculum remains relevant in the industry. The courses offered really prepare you for the industry as you are not only offered to study about the latest technology but you can also choose electives related to software industry if you want to move to the IT side
Internships Opportunities
There are plenty of internship oppurtunities available for the students. Both research internships and technical internships are also there but its all up to the student to grab onto the oppurtunities offered
Placement Experience
The placements here are above average according to me, The condition of the market is really bad especially for core jobs, but still students are getting placed for top packages (12+LPA). Even if you dont get placed you will get exposed to several oppurtinities for higher studies .
Fees and Financial Aid
The faculty here is incredibly supportive and helpful. There are also regular guest lectures from industry experts who give valuable insights. The hostel and sports faciities are decent though the gym can be improved. Overall this college offers good return on investments as the fees are on the lower side for a private college
Campus Life
Usually there are two big events which happen in our college-INTRAMS and Hostel day. Hostel day according to many is the best of the year. There lakhs and lakhs of books in the PSG library and there is also an online library service which offers remote access, the library also contains various leisurely books to read.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is pretty mediocre if you ask me, all the basic facilities like study table, bed and cupboards are provided but compared to what we pay for it the value we get is understandable. There is a large ground infront of the hostel and there are plenty of sports activities. The mess is okay, you can also choose between north indian and south indian mess.
Admission
I applied to various other colleges during my admission process but i preferred PSG as my number one college as it was one the best colleges in the state offering my favourite course. I got admitted through TNEA
Faculty
The faculty are very open to any doubts or queries, you can approach them whenever you want inside the college campus and they'll be ready to assist you. Dr Devakaran sir is my favourite sir, hes's absolutely ready to guide the students at every step of the way and ensure our success. There are not many faculties who are bad at their job
Night Life
The hostel timings for boys is that the gates will be closed at 9pm, anytime before 9pm the students are allowed to go wherever they want, the gym also follows the same timing as the hostel, but there are not many spots to hangout around the campus .
