Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good they provided 2 semesters actually i have completed gme course first semester in 6 months and 2nd semester is end of the course. I didn't get any difficulty level on my timing of exams

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 395000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 3 lakhs 95 thousand for one year graduate marine engineering (GME) Tuition fees is 3 lakhs 95 thousand, caution fees is 20 thousand Registration fees is 1000 No lab fees and other charges all included in a tuition fees

Campus Life

All type Books are available in library They conducted so many festivals College offered sports like football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, pickleball, and some indoor games I have joined in rotary club

Admission

I applied to IMS GOA and I got addmission also but I did not choose IMS GOA because fee is very high as compared to HIMT COLLEGE I didn't get any rejection from other colleges Apply the college and they provided online test and after completing the online test they provided interview and after I got admission

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio like each course (bsc, btech, GME, DNS, GP RATING) different faculties and some common. Faculty teaching is good manner like father I did gme course they provided 2 semesters

Interview Experience

I faced online test first and after completing the online test and I got selected for interview In interview they asked questions based on my btech mechanical engineering course Admission criteria is min 60 percentage in btech or be

Night Life

Gym will open till 9 pm and cafeteria opens till 10pm , library open till 11pm Hostel timings is till 10pm on the lights and till 11pm on the study lights only. Famous hangout place is cafeteria and sports complex

Placement Experience:

HIMT have 100% placements record also good thing about HIMT after completion of course also they call back the non placed students if they are not placed so this no MTI's will do, I also got placements from college, also HIMT having all Post sea courses all DG aproved .

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

Placement Experience:

They should give a placement for every 4 months once untill get a job . Good for placement opportunities Good for training in safety of working in ship. Good for learning about marine enginnering. Good labs and good practical knowledge we should get form here.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

For ETO there is sponsorship as well as placements. If you are sponsored by any company you don't need to attend any placement drives. But if you are not sponsored they were providing placements in the first month onwards. The shipping companies like MAERSK LINE, BSM, MSC GOOD WOOD, MARSHALL, and many more are taking the cadets. Almost 90 % are placed before leaving the campus. As far as lam concerned I will go for sailing after the company's induction programme.

Placement Experience:

The placement were depending upon the performance of the cadet, however the cadets are the HIMT will give chances will be given to atten the interview , there we should perform. So the placements entirely lies in our hands only.

Placement Experience:
