Good facilities. Very supportive and helpful.
Good placement record. Placement team is also good
Very neat campus and good atmosphere for studies.

Dislikes

Mess good very average and they try well for it.
The shore leave is limited, and should report at time.
Class timing is very long and wide.breaks are very strict.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers follows very good way of teaching. And that help students to improve in their studies. They mainly focus on industrial application to give us more idea and knowledge. The teacher are very supportive.

Placement Experience

Many companies are coming like MSC, BSM, Maserk, OSM etc many more are there. Which give good placement record for thr college. There is a good team for the placement and they help us to achieve our goals.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee is 295000 and the very good college with good faculty and facilities . And teachers are very supportive and good atmosphere for studies. good placement are also provided. Good performance. Good hostel facilities. Overall good review about the college.

Campus Life

Infrastructure and way of teaching is very good. Many festivals are celebrated in our college, like Onam, Christmas etc and that help the students to get relief from the studies and to enjoy. Very good.

Admission

There is good placement record for our college that main reason why i select this college and facilities and faculty in this college. They are very helpful and supportive. We can improve our skill and performance.

Faculty

There is a good relationship between students and faculties. They are very supportive and helpful in all thimgs. They help students to get more view in industrial side. Which help us to get more ideas anout the industry.

Placement Experience:

HIMT have 100% placements record also good thing about HIMT after completion of course also they call back the non placed students if they are not placed so this no MTI's will do, I also got placements from college, also HIMT having all Post sea courses all DG aproved .

My great experience in HIMT

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

The great experience at HIMT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good they provided 2 semesters actually i have completed gme course first semester in 6 months and 2nd semester is end of the course. I didn't get any difficulty level on my timing of exams

Placement Experience:

They should give a placement for every 4 months once untill get a job . Good for placement opportunities Good for training in safety of working in ship. Good for learning about marine enginnering. Good labs and good practical knowledge we should get form here.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

For ETO there is sponsorship as well as placements. If you are sponsored by any company you don't need to attend any placement drives. But if you are not sponsored they were providing placements in the first month onwards. The shipping companies like MAERSK LINE, BSM, MSC GOOD WOOD, MARSHALL, and many more are taking the cadets. Almost 90 % are placed before leaving the campus. As far as lam concerned I will go for sailing after the company's induction programme.

Life that I lived in HIMT was good.

Placement Experience:

The placement were depending upon the performance of the cadet, however the cadets are the HIMT will give chances will be given to atten the interview , there we should perform. So the placements entirely lies in our hands only.

Placement Experience:

For my Course, placements from top companies like Maersk,BSM,MSC have taken in 23 students already with 2 months left for course completion. Roughly 70% of the students are placed. We had placement offers from the above companies from the starting of the course itself.
