The course is fully technical and after completion we will get more practical knowledge. Syllabus is as depicted in the dg shipping website and they were strictly following this as their reference. The timing of exams are very fast because this is only 4 months course so each month you will have exams.

For ETO there is sponsorship as well as placements. If you are sponsored by any company you don't need to attend any placement drives. But if you are not sponsored they were providing placements in the first month onwards. The shipping companies like MAERSK LINE, BSM, MSC GOOD WOOD, MARSHALL, and many more are taking the cadets. Almost 90 % are placed before leaving the campus. As far as lam concerned I will go for sailing after the company's induction programme.

The course i studied is ETO and it is a 4 month course. The total fee including the food and accommodation for 4 months is ? 295000. As far as HIMT is considered the full fee need to be given prior to the course starting date. In this 5000 rupees is caution deposit. There is no reduction in cash for any people all need to pay the same amount. This college is giving the best prices for this particular course. In all other colleges it is twice and very high.

Festivels are all very good and colourful in the campus. Most of the festivals regardless of cast or relegion is being celebrated in HIMT. The campus is having a full fledged library facility that will provide the access to almost every journals The classrooms are all AC and they are having digital boards for the eaziness of teaching and understanding. Sports is also strong in this campus all equipments including table tennis and other indoor games are all available. So many commeties run by students like galley committee, laundry committee, garbage committee, external committee, event committee and so on

I have applied to Angelo eastern. But the exam date is after HIMT's joining date. I have already sponsored by a shipping company called BSM, they told me to take the course from this college and complete the course with minimum 65% aggregate. I have applied to Angelo eastern before this sponsorship exam. I got this sponsorship and they told me to study in this college. For ETO the students need to have a bachelor degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and instrumentation engineering with an aggregate of 60%.

For my course the total strength is 40 and the total number of faculties are 8. All are highly experienced marine personals and they were very good in communicating with the cadets. Ramanujan sir, sayid sir, uma mam and pradeep sir are the best and they were friendly with the students. For ETO there is totally 3 exams in four months 3rd one is the final exam.

As far as ETO is concerned the interview questions are all related to marine electrical and electronics concepts and also the electrical engineering topics. The admission process is simple they are having their own website we can easily apply for any course through that portal and pay the money online itself. Preperation for the interview is not at all up to you the faculties will help for each and every time and they all are very helpful
