Course Curriculum Overview

One of my senior who studied here suggested me the course which is relevant to my ambition and passion..this curriculum prepares me to the synthesis level to solve the real time problem in application

Placement Experience

As of my electro technical officer course. We are eligible to attend interview form the day one ..as the company approaches based on the eligibility criteria of the company they send the students. Companies visited our college are maersk, bsm , marshall , good wood ,thome, osm and many more. 100 percent placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Electro technical officer. It is a four month course in which the tuition fees is rs 285000 and caution fees is rs 5000 and registration fees is rs 1000. All batch mates having the same fees structure. Other than ETO other courses fees varies

Campus Life

Here in our college the we celebrate every religious festival for example. Diwali, Christmas, ramzan, and many other culture based and event based festival..often we have celebrated.we have a library ..and there is ennumber of books available for learning

Hostel Facilities

Good infrastructure and pleasant ambience were we are like to study ..and they provide good ventilation and neat and clean restrooms Food provided here is healthy and in the same time hygienic. There is no separate registration process for hostel it is included with all initial fees

Hostel Fee: INR 56000 per year

Admission

I didn't apply for any other colleges I just straight away applied to this college and they kept a selection interview and I have got selected and joined here as a electro technical officer trainee cadet admission process is very simple.. apply for the course .a basic interview, and fees payment .and that's it

Faculty

We have ratio of 5: 40 as faculty and students. My favorite staff is syed kabir sir the man who helped me in getting placement in top most company. He has good knowledge in all interview aspects and marine electrical knowledge.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

For ETO there is sponsorship as well as placements. If you are sponsored by any company you don't need to attend any placement drives. But if you are not sponsored they were providing placements in the first month onwards. The shipping companies like MAERSK LINE, BSM, MSC GOOD WOOD, MARSHALL, and many more are taking the cadets. Almost 90 % are placed before leaving the campus. As far as lam concerned I will go for sailing after the company's induction programme.

Life that I lived in HIMT was good.

Placement Experience:

The placement were depending upon the performance of the cadet, however the cadets are the HIMT will give chances will be given to atten the interview , there we should perform. So the placements entirely lies in our hands only.

As a first-generation mariner, I've always wanted to join the merchant navy. After joining himt for the gme course I came to know of the dicipline that is being practised here. The faculty and the infrastructure here are of the highest quality. The exams and internals and orals conducted during the course will definitely help you in preparation for the class 4 examination

I have applied to Angelo eastern. But the exam date is after HIMT's joining date. I have already sponsored by a shipping company called BSM, they told me to take the course from this college and complete the course with minimum 65% aggregate. I have applied to Angelo eastern before this sponsorship exam. I got this sponsorship and they told me to study in this college.
