Course Curriculum Overview

Basically I'm an electrical student having an passion on the electrical system and have a good seeking on the carrier so i choosed to be a Electro Technical Officer, where we have a very good pay and more ways to see the new things.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 295000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement were depending upon the performance of the cadet, however the cadets are the HIMT will give chances will be given to atten the interview , there we should perform. So the placements entirely lies in our hands only.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for the course is 2,95,000. Includes with all accommodation such as hostel and food. Scholarship aer been provided with some categories matched with the cadets. There is no extra fees taken by the college.

Campus Life

Ganesha Chaturthi, Aayutha Pooja are been celebrated in a great way here. Onam also celebrated here, all state peoples were here so all festivals are been celebrated well. Sports were been well and good with events like Nautica, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The total fees will be taken along with the hostel fees and food. So ther is no extra fees needed to pay for any of these The meal will be good and healthy which can able to make us like a healthy person on Sea life.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

I have directly applied for Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training College only initially, but i have tried to apply for Anglo eastern but they had a late joining optionwhich is 2 monthsafter only i can join there.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good enoda to take care of the student educations along the practical sessions and the we have 3 exams in the total 4 month duration. All the faculty are good enough so there is no way to not like them.

Placement Experience:

HIMT have 100% placements record also good thing about HIMT after completion of course also they call back the non placed students if they are not placed so this no MTI's will do, I also got placements from college, also HIMT having all Post sea courses all DG aproved .

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

The great experience at HIMT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good they provided 2 semesters actually i have completed gme course first semester in 6 months and 2nd semester is end of the course. I didn't get any difficulty level on my timing of exams

Placement Experience:

They should give a placement for every 4 months once untill get a job . Good for placement opportunities Good for training in safety of working in ship. Good for learning about marine enginnering. Good labs and good practical knowledge we should get form here.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

For ETO there is sponsorship as well as placements. If you are sponsored by any company you don't need to attend any placement drives. But if you are not sponsored they were providing placements in the first month onwards. The shipping companies like MAERSK LINE, BSM, MSC GOOD WOOD, MARSHALL, and many more are taking the cadets. Almost 90 % are placed before leaving the campus. As far as lam concerned I will go for sailing after the company's induction programme.

Placement Experience:

For my Course, placements from top companies like Maersk,BSM,MSC have taken in 23 students already with 2 months left for course completion. Roughly 70% of the students are placed. We had placement offers from the above companies from the starting of the course itself.
