My great experience in HIMT

This GME course is fully about the marine machinery, its operation and safties to carry out onboard. here we study about the rules and regulation which is followed in the marine industry. after studying mechanical GME is best for upgrade our carrier to marine

I got a chance to attend the interview in MSC and i got selected in that company. i will join in that company as the trainee marine engineer. there i will assist with other engineers on ship with their daily works

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

the Over all fees for GME in HIMT is 395000 + 20000 caution deposite. this includes academic, hostel, Food, STCW & High voltage course. For online admission its 1000 which is seperate. all are paying same fees for GME. for fisherman they can get the scholarship of 50000 after completion which is given my central goverment.

In college, we having committee for each department which is ruled by cadets itself. so any issues can be rersolved easily. the sports complex was the best infrastructure which recently open in collge. all are playing at every evening.

HIMT has good infrastructure and high disciplinary over other college. my first choice is HIMT and i joined here without any hesitation because the placements are very good. they are following high placements rates for all batches in the college.

there are more then 50+ faculty is there in campus for 800 Cadets. all are very friendly and they can easily approchable. all are we experienced in their field of work. so they use their experience to make us understand. espically DHINAKARAN sir, GOKUL sir, SURESH SHENOI sir are very practical knowledge person so their classes are very interisting. there are 2 sem for gme and if you understand the basics then you can easily clear all.

yes, there is an interview for the admission. the interview questions coming from the basic engineering knowledge and about engine and Marine field. it will be asked about the ambition and future plan after 5 years.

In college we have Gym at particular time for each batch use, apart from galley there is an canteen in which all food are in aforadable price, the hostel is big well spaced rooms with good ventilations on every room.
