Life at RCAS

At first I don't have any knowledge about this course . In my first semester I started to get things and the curriculum helps you to get real world applications for the future . In odd semester there will be less events so you can focus on studies but during even semester there will be plenty of events which causes distraction and the completion of syllabus will be in short time . Its difficult during even semester.

By 5 th semester (3rd yr) the students are eligible for placement but from 1 st year there will be placement class regarding aptitude, interview knowledge etc. currently any degree students are the placements we have like not specifically we have regarding psychology only few companies that comes for placement in ug . My plan is to do pg after degree.

Per year 60000 . Other fees around 6000 including fest. For exams you will pay extra fees around 3000 depending on papers . Merit based discounds on fees will be given .sports quota has seperate fees structure. I paid 54000 after my merit qualification.

we have RGF that will be held during March which is annual fest in my college, other than this there will be onam,pongal festivals . There is library and we have every books regarding each department which is accessible. We have projectors for the class along with whiteboard .sports and extra curricular activities conducted like NASA.we have clubs like nss ,ncc ,rotract ,and many other . Mycamu is used for student portal to learn and to have access to ppt's related to their subject.

I applied in PSGCAS FOR BSC.PSYCHOLOGY but I didn't make it there because of reservation. The offered management instead of aided so I didn't want to join there . In my college currently there is no exams for admission maybe in upcoming they are planing to conduct entrance exam which is not sure by now. You must be 12 th passed with 55% . Its the only eligiblity criteria.

Approaching faculty is easy and they are friendly type . Every faculty is best they are very helpful. Not every teacher is same we may have conflicts it's better to have discussion with them seperately. There are 2 internal exam and semester. Its easy depending upon how you study .

Library is opened till 3 o clk, gym till 11 o clk and cafeteria will be opened till 11 . Hostel students must be in by 6 o clk for girls and 8 o clk for boys . Near kurichi lake which is near by and safe to roam at morning. There is also temples near college which will be open till 8 .
