Likes
- I like the campus so much. Because it's situated in a mountain region which is about 22-25 km away from the city and the campus is also have lots of trees.
- The Faculties always support you and push you to achieve the greater success. The quality of knowledge they gave us is very helpful to build our career in respective fields.
- The price of the food available in the campus is very reasonable and the variety of food is also available.
Dislikes
- The first thing is there are no placement drive in our department. Placement drive is come for the department like MBA, M.Com and for the B.Tech.
- And the university's academic calander is not good enough from the time of covid 19. It's need to be improved.
- There are also so less programmes, concerts in the campus which is not good for students enjoyment.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I've interest in it and it's gives you lots of opportunities after the completion of the course. After the completion you apply for the NET, GATE and other OIL & mining companies. To improve the course hire two or three more faculties for smooth classes. The semester final exams held in every 5 months and in between that there is two sessional exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The campus environment is awesome. The Faculty of the Department is cool and great with lots of experiences. The admission for the 1st year is 19,360 INR and for the 2nd year it's 16,567 INR. The examination fees for per semester around 1200 INR. If we talk about scholarship University offers all Government scholarship according to the candidate eligibility.
Campus Life
The biggest annual fest are held in the month of August/September and its name is AUSKRITI and the Tech fest is not held in the last 3 years. Apart from AUSKRITI there are lots of minor fest in the campus. There is enough of books and journals in the library for every department and every subjects. Talking about sports university offers cricket ground, football ground, badminton, basketball & volleyball court.
Admission
I applied for other universities also. Among which I didn't got seats in some universities and I got seats in some universities. But I choose this university because it's in my own state, its a central university, I heard about the faculties from my close one and the place is also good. Now a days University give admission through CUET-PG. In our time the entrance exam is conducted by the department itself and a personal interview was also taken by the department.
Faculty
There are 5 faculties in the department and they are very calm, cool and good. Their experiences are awesome. And the students in the per batch are maximum 25. There are total four semester's exam and in every semester there are two sessional examination and the exam difficulty level is moderate to high. But the pass percentage is 100% in the last 5 years.
Night Life
The campus gym is open for both girls and boys with different timings. The cafeteria is open from morning 9 o'clock to evening 9 o'clock. The library open from 9 o'clock to evening 8 o'clock. The time is extended in the examination time. There is lots of hangout places like park, ground, cafes, restuarants, market located in or near the campus.
