Assam University - The Green Days

As we know Literature is a mirror of the society . I have always wanted to be a English literature student as it helps to deal with real life problems. We start feeling things in a deep and well manner. According to me , others factors are well n good.

The fee was 10,000 for 2 years. Category wise it differed. I belong from the OBC community and also the single girl child of my family which was a blessing for me because of which I got 2 scholarships. One was because of me being a single girl child and the other one was OBC scholarship. The faculty was so good that there was no need of tuition. Registration fees was affordable too, it was about 650. For SC/ST it was about 400. For the Unserved it was 750. As it is a Central University it has many perks and scholarships.

Kaberi Youth Festival is the forever highlight of this university. Literary festivals,cultural festivals etc. are taken place too. The library is filled with everything that you truly need as a student. Classroom facilities are well and good. Sports week is another attraction . The social groups,clubs etc. are good too. They good for animal welfare too which should be really appreciated

I got selected for 3 other universities but I wanted to be a part of Assam University. An entrance was taken place which was moderate. A student with the required degree and marks could appear the entrance. My experience is all good.

Every faculty was like a friend to me. I don't any complain for the faculties. Because of them I m in this position now so I m forever indebted to them. Exams are conducted monthly which makes the student eager and conscious. From my batch,luckily, everyone passed. The curriculum was not monotonous because of which we were able to tackle it

Both the campus and hostel timings - 7 pm Other areas- 9 pm Mati pung should be really visited,Kacha Stadium,Singhasan peak etc. Yes,during my stay for 2 years I have never felt unsafe ... So,yes,it is definitely a safe place
