Remarks

Christ College is the best college in Saurashtra.the leaning at Christ College is unforgettable and the support they gave is dream of many students but don't get that. I feel that the Christ is the best place to learn and develop.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course of bsc biotechnology is very new in our country. The scopes are yet growing in India but in other countries the scope of biotechnology are out of the box. And the faculty of Christ College are one who design the syllabus of bsc.

Internships Opportunities

Not actually but the campus interviews occurs many times and institute of management provide placements for their students. I didn't get as I am student of life sciences so I must do master's for better job.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement are good for management students and the job opportunity are good for any under graduate student as the campus interviews occurs many times in a year. Moreover the chances of going in fine arts as well as visual arts are also very good as they send students to many competition in state.

College Events

5

There are many different events like cultural week celebration, sports month, youth festival, days celebration, teachers day celebration, science symposium, national conference and seminars and many more. There are many different types of clubs as well such as nature club culture club women cell science club etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are vary for each course and not that much expensive. Fees include library and I'd cards charge with the tuition fees. Fees for hostel are about 8250 rs per semester and for meals they take 3000 per month. But meal was not bearable.

Fees and Financial Aid

They don't offer scholarships but they inform about different scholarship to students and the students who study on loan, for them college provide some extra time to pay fees and help in filling formalities of loan.

Campus Life

5

All activities were too good and organised by clubs so they give certificate to all participants and make winners out of them. Labs are very large and with safety arrangements. Lab assistant is also there and contains all required chemical for experiment

Hostel Facilities

2

I give 10/10 for infrastructure and facilities. The hostel was very clean and contains many rooms dinning room canteen as well. Terrace and washing area are also there but only one drawback is food of hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

They held senior talks and experts talk regularly for students to guide them for future. Alumni meet occurs every year at campus and the expert lecture are very useful for students as the senior are studied at the same college and benches.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was as per the university rules but the internals and practical examination was taken as per college schedule so the mid term examination was held after 2.5 month after the starting of semester and the practical and viva was taken at the end of semester.

Admission

I got admission on basis of percentage of 12th and Gujcat examination marks. First of all I applied offline by filling form then submitted to college after the that I paid total fees of one semester as per rules

Faculty

4.5

Faculty are very supportive, well qualified and we'll experienced. The support they give for our learning is so strong. They design the syllabus of biotechnology for Saurashtra University colleges. By nature they are like our family.

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
