Dislikes
- Although the campus is decent, but it lacks in sports facilities, it does not have enough place to play, having only two small sport arenas.
Course Curriculum Overview
The cource curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is great and decent enough for academics. The only reason to choose SST over any other college was its curriculum as its designed in such a way to provide future proof skillset to students. The curriculum is great in terms of emergence of AI in this niche.
Internships Opportunities
SST provides internships in their third year. The internship opportunities is quite good here, almost 96% of the senior batch have been interned in atleat one of the companies. So there is decent internships record. The stipend varies based on the performence ranging from 20k-1 lakh.
Placement Experience
There is no official records of placements for SST as its a new college, but they do provide placements, also they provide internships in third year itself with a average stipend of 25k. The highest stipend that was offered was 2.5 lakhs from a german based company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total cource fees for the program is around 24 lakhs, which makes it around 6 lakhs per year. This includes the tuition fees, the hostel fees and the mess fees. The hostel fees which is around 1.2 lakhs per year is included in this fees structure. And one has to pay a 50k deposit for admiision process. Yes! performance based scholarships are provided for top rankers or performences in academics.
Campus Life
The college is majorly focused on academics hence you cant expect much of the campus life. There are genrally two fests every year, one is RiseUp and Yugaantar. The library of SST consists of books majorly related ot tech itself.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room consists of three beds but you also have option for double sharing and tripple sharing. You get 3 beds, a study table for each person and a restroom inside the room itself making it handy. You can also install external accesories if you want.
Admission
After seeing all other colleges i saw one coomin thing, they all were having that same old and traditional curriculum, which was lacking in this time if AI, so, i choosed SST due to this main reason. To apply for SST, you need give their NSET examination consisting of aptitude questions, and after clearing that NSET exam, you have to give two rounds of interview majorly based on your maths and apptitude skills. If you qualify both of these, you have an offer letter!.
Faculty
The faculty here is highly skilled and are experts in thier feilds. Faculty can have personal attention to students. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:50. They are easily approachable and are free to answer any of your doubts. Personally my favorite faculty over there is Kshitij sir, whi teaches us DSA. There are basically 3 exams in a semester, one pre-mid term, mid term and a end term examination. They are quite difficult and tests your knowledge.
Night Life
The nightlife in college is good. after a whole tiering day students chill in thier hostels, wnjoy with friends and play in the arenas. Cafeteria on the terrace is a nice spot to spend time to relax and chill.

I was sceptical about the weather at Sonipat, and I don't wanted to stay this away from my hometown.
