Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this curriculum because of it's niche it's CS centric! nothing else! if someone like me is so much interested in CS I would say nowhere I will be finding a better curriculum! We work with industry experts! on a regular basis! they visit our collage not only that they also take our sessions! The curriculum changes like with change of tech! like last year we didn't have a particular AI and Ml in course with So much advancement in AI and ML they introduced one in our curriculum! Exams are too frequent I would say but not soo hard! i would say medium! and we have exams for max of 3 - 4 days!

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fee => 50,000 year 1: 3,40,000 year 2: 4,64,000 year 3: 5,04,000 year 4: 3,40,000 There are also two different scholarships offered! They range from 25 - 100% of the tuition fee! These are merit based!

Campus Life

4

Scaler's campus life is a lot towards tech but we still have a lot of non-tech events too! Like a week ago, we had DJ nights! We had a lot of fun We also have year end party called RISE UP! sports is a bit less, but scaler is continuously improving with the sports facilities and also making it more fun! We have various clubs here! CP, E-cell, Sports, Cultural, Media and many more! Our class room are one of the best we have screens and projectors ! doesn't matter where we sit it's personalised everywhere!

Hostel Facilities

5

Our Hostel is pretty good, we have two options: double-sharing triple-sharing! And we get food with the hostel! All included in the mess fee! Our hostel had a free area, or say an open area, on the terrace where we have our cafeteria! and has a reading room! also a lot of fun spots like fooseball, pool and table tennis! we also ha ve chess and caroom there! No registration process everything is handled by Scaler! and the location is best! we have market nearby.

Admission

I was selected in VIT also, but I preferred SST for its curriculum and industry exposure! The admission process was quite simple! We have an entrance exa,m NSET, then after clearing it, we have 2 - 3 interview rounds with some staff! And that's it! We pay the fee and we are in! there are two eligibility criteria age <= 20 and they must have scored more than 20% in NSET or More than 40% in a particular subject in NSET! i applied only at VIT except SST and got selected in both and chose SST over VIT and I am delighted that I got into SST than VIT.

Faculty

5

Our master teacher-to-student ratio is about 100 : 1 but we have study buddies and BSMs considering them it comes down to 3 : 1. Everyone in scale would agree that the best teacher is Kshitij sir! he is like guru here! He knows everything and master of DSA at Scaler! I won't say there is any facility that I don't like! Exams here are quite often like we have a trimester system! we get end terms every term! and for each term we have mid-terms too!

Interview Experience

5

the GD was on my aspirations and dream! along with my current knowledge on basics logical thinking! that's it! and preparation was as simple as asking Chatgpt give me question and I was ready for the interview!

Night Life

5

We are given Cult passes to access GYMs and Swimming pools very nearby! We have a library on the first floor, not a lot of books, but great once there! We have a a lot to public gathering places around campus and hostel! our cafeteria is one of the best! we have pay-to-eat too! and mess too! yeah food isn't great but not bad either! Hostel timings are :- 4:00 to 22:30 and capus is open 24/7 we mostly hangout in our cafeteria! and in reading rooms around campus!

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key reasons I chose this course was its industry-oriented curriculum, especially the integration of modern technologies such as- Full Stack Development, DSA, AI/ML, Real-world capstone projects and hackathons. The curriculum does a good job in terms of bridging academics and industry demands- we work with Git, APIs, etc, then there are group projects mimic startup/team experience encouraging collaboration. DEspite the strengths of the course, it should have depth over breath on some topics, which were covered to quickly. Too many exams happen throuout the year are come very frequently, it could be changed.

The college is new so there is no placement report of the 4th year batch. but the placement report of the scaler academy has an average of 26 LPA. the internship report of the second year batch is pretty impressive with 96% students did atleast one internship with an average of 30k per month without any tech background before coming to the college.

The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.
