Course Curriculum Overview
8.5 to insutry aligned content. The curriculum made modern design technologies. Also would give 8.5 to practical exposure hands on projects and and industry collaborations and live case studies help and also 8.5 to research oriented approach.
Internships Opportunities
During my time at DTU they provided serveral internship opportunities primariliy through industry collaborations.DTU has solid industry ties which helped many students secure internships in design studios and also many pursued internships with tech companies.
Placement Experience
Placements for Mdes course at DTU are decent but not structured as engineering placements.There isnt a placement drive dedicated to design students so most opportunities come through off campus applications and networking.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of Mdes course of DTU is relatively reasonable compared to other design institutions in India. As a student who recently graduated i recall the yearly fee being approximately 1,60,000. Over the two year program total fee amounted around 3,20,000. The fee structure has been remained stable for a few years with no significant hikes during my time there.DTU also offers to deserving candidates based on merit and financial needs which helped many people reduce their financial burden.
Campus Life
My experience with campus life at DTU was mix of academic rigor and vibrant social interactions . Has lively social scene and although MDes students make a smaller community.There are college fests, cultural events where design students play a crucial role in branding stage design.
Admission
i chose DTU for my MDes program primarily because of its balance affordabilty and industry exposure .NIT IIT IDC excel in reputation. DTU offers tech driven design and strong faculty. DTU fees is compartively lower than private institutes.
Faculty
The faculty at MDes program was the biggest strength of the program. Most of the professor have the strong academic background and industry experience which made learning more practical and application based
Night Life
During my time at DTU i found several hangout spots and activities that became an essential party of how unwound after long days of classes and projects.The cafeteria was always buzing with life the green lawns near the building are the peaceful escape and the hostel rooms are perfect for informal studies.
