Course Curriculum Overview

The courses designed by the University of Delhi is very comprehensive and totally relevant to the students who are preparing for civil services . Syllabus of the exam and university mostly collide with each other

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In first year of college the fees also consist of few other charges like registration fees and library card so it was nearly 12000 in first year and then in second year it was approx 10000 rupees and in third year also the fees was around 10000 rupees

Campus Life

I am totally satisfied by the infrastructure and the environment of the college it was all round development for the students there were lot of clubs were there and with regular intervals some faculty or prominent personalities comes in college for talks

Admission

I choose Deshbandhu college because as I got to know that it has the best faculty for political science in University of Delhi. Regarding admission process it was very smooth get all your documents with you and some faculty will assist you there

Faculty

All the faculty members of pol sci hona were very knowledgeable and well qualified their teaching style was very good and the depth of their knowledge was commendable how ever the courses designed by the university is as such that teachers and students both gets equally immersed

Night Life

There was nothing like night life of college college don't provide hostel for the student. Students has to live in pg or rented appartment in nearby area although the area near college is very well developed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I'm doing is very relevant it teaches me about every marketing term that is still applicable the teaching methods adopted for core papers is purely through marketing case studies of new age brands however for SEC VAC GE the other lower credit papers the faculty is bad as well as they don't give context before teaching and assume that their students also have the same background like humanities etc my course for my core papers is veryy good

JMC is a beauty!!

Placement Experience:

Placements Cell is working very closely with industries and therefore the first learn their requirements and then they train us accordingly. So after a proper training in 2 years, we are made to sit for interviews in the 3rd year and thankfully around 80 odd percentage of girls form our college are placed.

A brief Review of my Experience at Hindu College

Placement Experience:

From semester 5th students become eligible for placements. In fact they are still going on right now. Major companies that i know off which usually visit our college are Bain, DeShaw, Delloite etc. So yea majorly consultancy firms. The highest package as of now in our batch is roughly around 18LPA it could go higher maybe in the near future as the placements are still active. The percentage of students as per my knowledge is around 50% while the placements are still undergoing.

The paper has a direct influence on my future competitive examination and job.. The teaching method and course curriculum should be improved. There are unnecessary materials that has to be bought by the students which are not even helpful The timetable is not so friendly while you have a class at 8:30 then spend the whole day and take the second class at 3:30..

I had earlier taken admission in MCM DAV College, chandigarh but they didn't let me opt history as my subject and here I am today studying history Hons.
