Likes

The canteen is good but the varities are not enough for the students
The environment of the college is good there is a lot greenery because of the plants and there are also peacock and rabbits in the college
The faculties are good and also supportive the environment of the college is really good and the seniors are very supportive they won't left our side or our group until we know every procedure of the college

Dislikes

There are not much varities for the food and the students who come from PGs can't get enough food
Sometimes the faculties don't behave good and they don't describe the devision of the marks
Sometimes classes get cancelled and the students get the news after reaching the college or an hour before the classes which is not good

Course Curriculum Overview

The course teach us to critical anaylse any situation, it teaches us to not only think about it's negative or positive impact but also think it's opposite and what are the other things can happen instead if it wouldn't happpen

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1. The year wise fee is 18000 and there is an administration fee which is taken by CSAS Portal which is a portal of DU. 2. The fee is same for all the categories students and there's no discrimination done by college or the students which is related to category.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in the society for ex, LGBTQ+ society it helps us to know more about other genders and improve our thinking, there are projector in each classroom but the classrooms are too small. The books in library are old and not updated, we can't get the books related to our course.

Admission

This college has good reputation and also famous for its studies. I didn't apply for any other colleges, this college or this university was my first and last preference. The eligibility of CUET is to score 55% in the 12th boards. The cut off for this course is too high but the syllabus is easy you only have to study the syllabus of your 12th class

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is good they help us whenever we need and also do their best to help us by taking doubt sessions before the exams. I can't directly tell the name of that faculty but there's a female faculty which has become a nuisance for all of us and she doesn't let us do anything and also doesn't listen to us which is not a good thing. She doesn't even complete her syllabus for the exams but except her most of the faculties are good.

Night Life

There is not gym in the college but there is a cafeteria and library in the college. And there are many cafés near to the college. There is no hostel facilities in the college the students who are living far from there parents either they have to live in PGs or with their relatives, the locality is moderate, I can't assure you if the locality is safe or not

USME DTU Economics Hons review

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates.There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement.The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum.As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

DTU has a calming effect!

Placement Experience:

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU USME is as good as it's engineering college.

Placement Experience:

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Placement Experience:

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

Gargi College defines greatness!

CUET is the best thing that has happened as otherwise when it was on percentage basis our college cut-offs were 96 percent minimum. Luckily now the benchmark is set on 90 and rest all on CUET score.
