Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very great as this is autonomous college which designs its own syllabus. Exam is semester wise. There are unit exams , practicals exam and then semester comes which is of 75 marks each subject.

Placement Experience

Placements are great. Highest package offeres was 19 lacs There is internship fair happening each year students interested can reach companies through college. College has enterprenuer developement cell too

College Events

Kshitij biggest fest in mumbai Mithimatica There are subject wise fests too and there many numerous fests happening all around the year every body take parts and then enjoy it. Preparation phase is the best

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as it is government granted college the fees is in the range of 6000 to 7000 per year for aided courses and for unaided course its max 30000 to 35k per year which is feasible scholarships available

Admission

Filling the mumbai university form and then filling college form both online from their respective websites. It is lil complicated process. Then after filling merit lists are uploaded then u have to go to college and pay fees.

Faculty

The faculties of the college are best in the city maybe state. They teach beautifully. Very nicely in a constructive way. Gives space for thinking. Overall very good thing. The college has many faculties

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

Teaching methods were good by some professors but one professor taught from ppt only. 2 and half hour for each exam and 60 marks paper all subjective no mcq as such. Practical exam is 150 marks including lab work , journal, viva voce.

As my decision the Course has my opportunities as IT sector is increasing most often. As of further pursuit they provide well information about upcoming exams.as for the improvement I would suggest that the course should provide subject that are latest and most trendy ones instead to teaching old tech and languages. As I had done FYJC and SYJC from Mithibai college only so I had enrolled in the same college for Bachelor of Commerce course . I had thought for applying in other colleges but no college in Mumbai was providing good infrastructure and facilities at low fees that time.
