As you know the importance of Btech engineering students, I'm also interested into it . But the other reason is to choose this course because of my interest in computers and maths. The curriculums are effective in exams as well as in real life . Exam timing is 2 to 2:30 hours in semester and 1 to 1:30 in internals, you'll find zero difficulty in exams if you're present in class and do homework the teachers give in class . You can also improve your skill in participating other curriculum. And you have to improve your skill in coding to make your seat in placement.

Swami Vivekananda University, barrackpore, Kolkata is one of the most famous university in Kolkata, West Bengal. It's affordable and overall good university for students. I'm in Btech in DS and the course fee is 2,80,000 and additional fees like admission fee-30,000 , uniform and admission kit - 6,000 , skill development fee - 20,000 and registration fee is 4,000 , therefore the complete fee for BTech in Data science in 2024 were 3,40,000 . It may increase 40,000 to 50,000 in upcoming years because the university in increasing there buildings and courses . If I say overall then there's no other University in Kolkata which give you direct admission with 55 and above percentage in your intermediate school examination. This university is better than other colleges like JIS and TECHNO INDIA and BRAINWARE in comparison to campus . You can also apply for scholarships and it's not only for west bengal residents.

Annual functions are in numbers you'll also find it enjoying and the fests held here are very good because they invite celebrities and other dancer, singers and also the students involved in every fests . This university has private library where you find every book which is in studing. Sports and extracurricular also happen here . Student run groups like NSS are also non-raging and you can also put your suggestions and ideas .

I chose this university because i find this university has very well campus and the facilities are genuine and faculties are well behaved. And i have another reason to choose this university because i have a senior here which is my childhood friend and he suggest me this university. I have applied in this university directly I didn't get rejected from any other universities. Admission process here is from WBJEE and you can also get direct admission here . Eligibility criteria are you have to get 60 percentage and above in your intermediate and if you want btech then you have PCM or PCMB in your intermediate. Cuttofs of WBJEE are known to faculty you have to contact them or go to official website of this university.

Faculty to students ratio are genuine you don't find any difficulty . Also the teachers and other facilities are very good in helping, Bond between teachers and students are also good . If i say then the teacher of commutative English are very good i like him most . You'll not find any teacher who is not cooperating or rude to you there's no reason to not liking anyone. Pattern of exams are first you have to give internal exams which 2 in number. Internal exams will happen in 2 months then you have to give semester in the 6th month. There's very low numbers in failing the exams .

You'll find open gym and proper gym in university. If you want to go in other gym then you can find gym in 1-2 km from University. Cafeterias are present in every distance. I didn't join hostel but because of any cons but because i want to experience hostel . Here the locals will go to sleep early and you find small no. of peoples after 9 pm mostly are students available. In this place many small shops available where you can buy snacks and do grouping. This place is safe to roam at night but there's no one available because of hostel and pg timings .
