Course Curriculum Overview

2

It is relevant to today's demand in society, it is including al the possible aspects of society including optional courses they teach relevant topics. But assignment style is outdated in my opinion as they take more of labour time then knowledge then usual.

Internships Opportunities

2

Very less internship opportunities for science course specific skill sets But so many for commerce and arts. Average stipend is 10000. You will get many paid and unpaid opportunities in the college on monthly basis , followed by internship fest annual.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees regardless of categories for first two years is 15,750 and later it is increased by 2000 it include the all lab and theory payments. During exams the examination form has different fees that include fees main course fees and optional subjects fees like VAC,SEC and GE, this fees is variable based on combination of all the paper chosen but likely to wrap under 2000 for each semester. Students get a financial support by Laptop under scholarship when applied.

Campus Life

3

Infrastructure is ok ,but with very poor networks, there is no stationary in campus. Canteen and Nescafe are nice. Near area of college is no student friendly , as area is expensive with no near facilities. Clubs are very active, whether performing or non performing society. Sports are also very active, annual selection in also done. Clubs are run by students with no political or unfare involvement of Teachers or seniors.

Admission

It is a girls campus, so I feel safer and avoid any possible boys drama. I would have preferred Miranda for the same but my list reference was not up to point, otherwise my marks were qualifying. Other than that I may prefer Hansraj college, it is coed but Exposure to zoology students is so nice and some aspects more practical than gargi

Faculty

4

Course per semester has 3 main subjects and choice between one minor or discipline subject. And SEC ,VAC and Aec subject.Total papers in a way to make a 22 credit. Marking scheme in theory will lead to deduction but if you submit your assignments on time and take your lab class seriously it will keep you in 7 cgpa easily. Teachers are understanding, if you have doubts they can solve them in person also but be respectful of their time.

Night Life

1

No night life as there is no hostel , there is no night fest post lockdown, most events end by Evening, but if you are a member of any performing society, you may stay in college late in college for practice.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
