Remarks

Not as such, it was a well reputed college with almost all amenities. But some amount of discipline could be better for the entire atmosphere of the college. Other than that the college is great, i recommend all my juniors

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is well spread but old and non practical. It must be industry based and not very generic. Exams are internal and external with some marks also in the hands of the teacher for attendance

Placement Experience

Yes the college had a placement cell which works very actively for the students throughout the year. Provides opportunities for both internships and placement offers. I too got a job from the college itself

College Events

My college had a number of cultural and academic societies with celebrated their fests atleast once every year. They organised fests, competitions, performances etc and jnvited all students to be a part of it. The money spent was either sponsored through ads, stalls, or merchandise

Fee Structure And Facilities

22000 for an year, but their are other college which provide same and better education at a better price. Like Hindu Hansraj kirorimal within Delhi University. But the infrastructure in the college was nice so it's justified

Fees and Financial Aid

Financial assistance is provided to those who avail for it and who can prove that they need it. Other than that, top performers of the college get scholarships for the year, college also provides sponsorship for good projects

Campus Life

Pretty good, I was a part of the music society. All societies work very actively throughout the year to win laurels for the college. They are provided with some benefits to help them function better. They organise annual fests

Alumni/Alumna

College organises alumni meet every three years and has a strong alumni network. They provide help to students and faculty alike and have always proved to be support to the college They help in internships and placement as well

Admission

Admission is based on marks scored in class 12th, merit based. Delhi University released cut off lists and then we are supposed to visit the colleges with required documents to get admitted. When another list is released we can get the college changed

Faculty

Faculty is very well educated, supportive and understanding. They had knowledge about subjects not only in their area of expertise but also about the professional application of concepts. It could have been a bit more strict

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms
active campus life with good opportunities to interact with other students

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

Placement Experience:

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

The course relevance I will rated as 9 out of 10 because I still find I need to explore more but overall all they have been very reachable.. its for students welfare and it increases the productivity.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

Course Curriculum Overview:

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.

The application process is simple. There is a test called cuet(common University entrance test). We have to fill our subjects first and according to it we have exams in different centre the preference of centre is there when you fill the CUET application. According to our subject the courses are shown and you also have to select the difference Universities you want to study. The cut off for CUET previous year is around 760+ if you want to study in best colleges or universities other wise passing marks is 480+ out of 800.
