The faculty is friendly and very helpful. If you have any doubts,they clarify the doubts.
The college is good for students aiming only for academics. Course fees is affordable compared to other colleges in Kolkata.
The alumni network is quite good in our college.

Dislikes The college is really small, and no playground . Campus Life is not good.
The sudden increase in the fees structure is very disappointing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is under makaut. So it follow makaut course curriculum. We have semester exam in every 6 month. The difficulty ia moderate. We have internal exm every month nd best of it is added to the final exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is quite good. 88% student placed in every year. The average package is around 5 to 6 lpa and the highest package is 12lpa to 14lpa. Cognizant and Infosys recruit mass students. This year until now 70 students from cse is placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees 1.46 lakh per year since 2023-24.it was increased in 2023 year.when I addmission,the total fees is 3.90 lakh for 4 year. We got a scholarship from west bengal government named s.v.m.c.m . It is for only West Bengal's students. For other states students, they got national scholarship. The complete course fees since 2023 is 586600.

Campus Life

We have cultural fest in every 3 year. The name of the fest is elixir. We have technical fest in every year . Various colleges participate in the events. We have many clubs like orator club, cultural club and coding club those conduct event in every month.

Admission

The college is near my house and when I was admitted the fees structure was quite low in compared to other tiee 3 Colleges and one of my relatives son used to read in the college so I got a good feedback from them

Faculty

The faculty members are very friendly. They are very helpful. They will guide you in every step. They will let you know about the latest technological skills that you sould learn outfside of your course.

Night Life

We have gym and cafeteria in the college but we can't roam around the college campus above 7pm . But if we have fest then we can be in the college till 10 to 11pm . There is city centre 2 and eco park near our college. You can go there by a auto or a bus it will take 15 to 20 minutes.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3. At our college students can get admission by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and WBJEE. Cutoffs for different courses vary every year.
