Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very good. We are taught the coding languages very thoroughly along with real world projects, which will be really helpful. There are 4 class tests for theory paper each semester and 2 practicle exams each semester.
Placement Experience
The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 69500 . And the tution fees and all are same for all catagories. I took Swami Vivek Ananda scholarshi. The fees was very less when I got into the college but suddenly it was increased by about 15000 per year.
Campus Life
The college has below average campus life. Tech fest occurs every year in June or July ehich is one of the most prominent events of the college and the cultural fest named ELIXIR occurs once in every 4 years.Sports events takes place every year having cricket,football, volleyball, handball etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is really poor. I stayed about 6 months in the hostel. The food there is inedible and unhygenic. The rooms are very small. There of us students used to live in a cramped room. And there is no sports or games facility in the hostel
Admission
One can get into the collge by giving WBJEE,JEE MAINS or by JELET. I choose this college because of its well known faculty of computer science. This college is situated in core kolkata so the position is good and because of its position all kinds of college be it small or large, visit our college.
Faculty
The faculty to student ration is about 1:6. And the relationship between them is very healthy, and they are helpful being highly qualified. Our Computer science faculty is the best faculty of the college. The exams here are moderately difficult. About 50% students pass the exams every semester.
