Course Curriculum Overview

It is quite vast and sometimes difficukt to comprehend. There are not much classes in schedule to cover it. Hence we have to rely on self studies most of the time. Still you willl get a wide exposure compared to a local college.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is constant and annual fees of 25000. Many scholarship offered by DU for underprivileged. Raj bhargava scholarship offered by college for humanities stream students which is based on an exam and interview.

Campus Life

I am a member of abstractions fine arts society and symposium parliamentary society. The societies are really active.The infrastructure is nice with red bricks and all. But it would have been better if there were ac and heaters.

Admission

This college got NIRF RANK 1.It is the most reputed college for my course. It is a different pride to say you are from Hindu college. The cultural diversity and vibrant crowd also adds to the beautiful experience.

Faculty

The faculty is really brillinat and graduated from famous universities. Syllabus is quite comprehensive and diverse. There are examz after every semester. It is easy to pass but hard to get a good CGPA if you dont try

Night Life

I am not really sure of nightlife. But as far as i ahve heartd from my hostel friends, they really enjoy it. Friendships and late night walks and going to the neraby tea stall are all core memories for a student.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Great college with good faculty and student crowd

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

It is one of the best college of Delhi university among 10 colleges of the university for my course that is Geography honours. All the faculty members are of good nature and experienced in their subjects

My Hindu college

My course is English Honours and minimum eligibility for this course is 1 language and any 3 domains in CUET exam according to NEP. Application forms will be provided on NTA Official website and application fees is different for different categories. Also some relaxations for SC St PWD candidates.
