Remarks

All are very good. Our faculty members are very good and well behaved. They are very highly educated from the best colleges in West Bengal and all over India. They always take care of our study and all the other things.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course in BTech in academy Of Technology in information technology is very good. The placements opportunities are very good in this college. It is a very good college in West Bengal. In this course we have to learn all about computer.

Placement Experience

The placements in our college Academy Of Technology is very good except the department Mechanical engineering. In all the other departments placements are very high. In previous years all the students from vlobsa information technology and computer science engineering are placed in very good companies.

College Events

Saraswati puja Biswakarma puja Independence day Yearly fest Tech fest Photography contest Durga Puja And the many other things. Our college has a very big campus and a large field. All the occasional programs held there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my College academy Of Technology is quite high during the placements opportunities and for the technical aspects. The fee structure of the course of my BTech in four years is nearly 4 lacs

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

Everything that shines is not always gold but also not always coal

i chose this college on the basis of that they offer us really good placements but from 2020-2024 the placements have gradually dropped due to recession and the percentage that college shows is based on the thing that is for example if 10 students are eligible for placements and also if 7 of them havent got any job and the other 3 got 3..4 job offers then they show it as more than 100% placement, which we came to know later but its also not their fault as the job market is really not good these days. comparing to other colleges the placement record of 2024 is really low as of latest....Read More
