History is always my favourite subject as it helps us to know about our past which always attracted me This course helps us to know about the monuments and the current running of the society If many practical things are brought to study then the course would be more interesting The exam are held after every 4 month and there are continuous assessment held and the difficultly level is medium to hard

Internships Opportunities

There are various companies which provide intership opportunities like - RegisterKaro for finance operations associate Heads up consulting private limited for tax associate Niva bupa health insurance company for apprentice

Placement Experience

After 6th semester students get eligible for campus placement Wipro zomato Amazon various consulting private companies visited and made huge offes Highest package is 1000000 and avg package is 400000 and the profiles offered are manager consultant and many more 20-30% students are getting placement I would like to pursue masters after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 18000 Tution fees includes 11000, caution fees 1000, registration fees 2000, development fees -1500, lab fees-500, library fees- 500, sports fees-500 and other miscellaneous fees -1000 There is no compulsory fees as per category Every category has same fees including sc st OBC ews but there are some financial aid or subsidy provided to sc st OBC ews on the actual fees other than that there are various scholarships available

Campus Life

Avvahan is the annual festival held every year in the month of May June There are wide range of books and journals avilable in library and they are easily accessible to students There is projector and smart board available in every classroom There are various sports like cricket football volleyball kabaddi offered in the campus There are no students run social groups but there are help desk or group for students by seniors where we every problem faced by students are solved

Admission

I have applied for various colleges under University of Delhi like hansraj, Miranda, Jesus and Mary, Aryabhatta, motital nehru and many more Aryabhatta is one of the renowned college is south campus with most peaceful environment so i decided to take admission here At a first first chance I got admission here so I decided to take admission here Through cuet we can get admission in university of Delhi have the cut off goes 700-750 every year

Faculty

The faculty and students relationship is very friendly and the students can approach the faculty members very easily they are easily available in needs of students The faculty of history is my most favourite as it always bring new ways opportunities to study more interestingly As far now i didn't found any faculty is bad There are 2 exams held every year and they are not at all hard almost every student pass the exam

Night Life

There is no gym but there is a cafeteria and a snacks area as well a spacious Library with sitting for students Hostel is open from 8am-7 pm And college campus is open from 8 am- 5 pm There are various cafe and restaurant for hangout and the outside locality is quite safe to roam in night

Placement Experience:

The placement is decent, not extraordinary. The average package is around 4.5-5 LPA, and the highest is around 21LPA. Students become eligible during their final year. The companies that have visited are EY, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co., Deloitte, etc. Decent number of students don't sit for placements or choose higher studies instead. As for me, I plan to do an MBA after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

my college provides internships and jobs at the end of each year, they bring about 50 companies and all students are eleigble, they have to fill forms for registration and then when the companies come they have to go for interview, where the hr are sitting of that company, if they wish to apply

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits.
