it has very big campus which is good for wondering around and walking.
it has many sports facility for everyone so that we can play sports of our own needs.

Dislikes

sometimes there is a bit of water issue thats what i think they should improve.
personally i think mess food quality can be improved more for a good institute like this.
weather there sometimes is a bit rough to handle.

Course Curriculum Overview

i think the curriculum is quite average neither bad nor really good, it really depends on your way of handling things rather than depending on the institute. it conducts basically same as other engineering institutes not that unique all simple and good.

Internships Opportunities

i really dont know much about the interships this college provides but i m sure it does provide some i just dont know what it provide never really tried to ask anyone for these things, you may try researching on that part by your own.s

Placement Experience

i think placement are pretty good here, i heard many students getting high package placements , i believe everyone gonna get their placement if nothing goes wrong for you in your academic career, just choose a good branch for more better placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. For the fees as i belong to st category i pay around 45000 for a semester for mess and semester registration in total. 2. for me i had tuition fee waiver as i am st and entered through jee mains. 3. for categories other than sc and st they dont get tuition fee waiver if they dont have their annual family income less than certain amount. 4. i dont really know about the schoolarships this institute provide but i m pretty sure it does provide some.

Campus Life

campus life here is pretty good too, you can have good social interactions if you want to and there is clubs which you can join to do more social activities if you need it, social life here really has good potentials only if you try to engage and grow more with others or else it wont happen by its own.

Hostel Facilities

hostel is quite normal not really good and bad, i stay in the hostel, you get the opportunity to stay triple seater or single based on your score in the jee exam you cleared in the first year and then after that you can adjust is yourself.

Hostel Fee: INR 48000 per year

Admission

i choose this college as i had no other option left to choose but its not bad to be here, everything going kinda as expected and simple and also the admission process was not that of a hectic. you just need to clear jee exam and then you can apply for admission just be carefull that there are certain cut off marks for all the categories.

Faculty

1. relationships between professor and students are quite average, some are good some are hard to approach. 2. for my course there is 2 semester for a year for 4 years and they conduct mid sem and end sem for each sem and also some internal exams.

Night Life

nightlife here is quite normal nothing really happens i mean uniquely, everyone just does there own things and focus on their life, they can go to gym at the evening, sports etc, and dinner as usual timings oh yeah but the mess sometimes mess up the dinner timings.

Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

Placement Experience:

The placements here are actually decent. The average package for my branch was around 13.5 LPA last year and branches like CSE, EC and EI have a higher average package generally. The campus is visited by almost all of the top companies including Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc. The detailed placement records are available on the website of the institute.The percentage of students getting placed ranges anywhere between 70 percent to 92 percent. I plan to get an M.Tech degree after completing my B.Tech course from an IIT if possible.

Overall good university which offers good internships and placement.

Placement Experience:

Placement percentage is nearly about 75-80%. Usually students get placed in good PSUs, or in tech companies. Other students opt for further studies like mtech or mba. My plans is to mtech as I want to do better jobs than a btech graduate do

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera

Placement Experience:

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester, one is eligible for Placements. This year(2024-25) 68 percent placement is done for B.Tech. Those who don't get placements either go for higher studies, UPSC, GATE, and some get job by referral from College Alumni.

Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

I chose this college mainly due to its large campus and facilites and decent placements. This college has a great alumni network and has the best clubs and societies among top colleges and also organises one of the best fests. I could have got a better college but my rank didn't allow me to secure admission into the top ones. Our college only accepts JEE Mains score as the admission criteria. I chose this college as NIT Silchar is an allrounder package, you want academics? Done! Fest? Done!! Every wing is awesome. From the very first being in my home state, it was the best college I can opt for after IIT Guwahati. I did got offers from other colleges government and semi, but NITS gave me my favourite branch and secured future. This college has a great placement records in PSUs for core branches and great IT sector companies for other branches. Courae is ergonomically designed to withstand the students potential and push up to next limits. An honest review for NIT silchar with detail analysis.

After jossa I applied in different nits as per my rank I got electrical Engineering department. NIT Silchar is one of the prestigious nits. As per nirf ranking it comes under 7th ranking. It has one of the top digital library where there are different books available. According to campus beauty it is the best beautiful campus. It has 18 lakes and a tea garden as well. I've chosen this college because i want to explore more and see the world through my eyes .
