The university arranges internships opportunity for the students helps us with Smart India Hackthon and other Hackthons and gives us the freedom to go to other institutions to do our internships And helps us with breaks and all
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission fees was cheaper than the other universities which was about 8000 and the examination fee is extra which is 1150 for subjects without practical and 450 extra for subjects with practical examination
Campus Life
The university organises a lot of festivals and programmes on regular basis and the library includes a wide range of books journals and newspapers The infrastructure of the practical labs are well equipped Many of the students participates in the AIU games and cultural events Endless opportunities for the cultural lines
Admission
I was not prepared for other state universities at the tome of the admission test but did comparatively good in the entrance test of this university so it make sense to take admission in this university as it is one of the oldest known institutions of our nation
Faculty
The Faculties are top notch in my department which I am aware of. The exam structure has been revised recently and that makes it a very good structure for students to score well and for passing the semester the students needs to get a combined total of 40% combining both mid and end sem There are some flaws as well like assignments are too much
Night Life
The infamous Cotton khaugali provides us with wide range of food stalls and cafeterias the gym and the indoor stadium are open uptill 9pm and as it is in the city area so it helps us too The university canteen is also very good A must visit place if you're in Guwahati
