Dislikes
- The girls to boys ratio 1:2 and there are very few girls in mechanical dept
- The infrastructure is very old and basic which could have been for better
- The teachers are a bit strict and they are not even ready to listen to your opinion most of the time
Course Curriculum Overview
The internal exams can be kept for a longer duration and they question we get are pretty long answers so it's difficult to finish the paper and the stuff they teach in the college are pretty course oriented and they are applicable in real life and some improvements that can be given are the teaching methods can be done on smart boards with use of videos
Internships Opportunities
The companies which offer internships through college are very minimal but if you want to like look for internships you can go outside and apply it yourself in the companies and they provide good internships and stipends and projects and mini projects works starts from 3rd year which can be done early for your own benefits
Placement Experience
The mechanical department gets placements form few companies like benz boeing and some other and your placements starts for 7th sem and your eligibility is 7 cgpa and students with more than 9 cgpa get good placements and the beat package would be 2 lakhs per month
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee was 222156 and the Miscellaneous fee 20000 Skill lab fee 20000 and University miscellaneous fee 2720 and about the hostel stay for the freshers it was 94500 only for the freshers and there is a seperate hostel for seniors which i didn't opt
Campus Life
We have 2 regular occurring festivals called udhbav and kr which happens every year and clubs in college are doing a good work in competitions and there are like clubs in every dept and there are lot of fields you can meet people and the sports is pretty mid in this college not a lot of events
Hostel Facilities
The hostel within the campus is pretty affordable and the food is good enough to have everyday the registration price for hostel is very simple and can be done in like a hour and the pg or flats are there in excess if you search around the area of college which are slightly expensive compared to other areas
Admission
I applied to this college by means of management and i didn't write any exams for this college and the exam i wrote for eligibility was jee and cbse exams and i have applied for vit mit and lpu and bits but the entry marks were high and i couldn't get the eligibility to enter
Faculty
There are like 1 faculty for every 5 students and some teachers are really in solving your problems and some of the teachers i like the most in my dept is R kumar. And sunith babu and Nishant sir and anil kumar sir and few faculties i dont like at all are manthesh mathur and few math faculty and bph sir and jc sir and the exams are pretty good and moderate level difficult which is easily passable if necessary prep is done
Night Life
The night life in the campus there is nothing tbh but as the college is in the middle of the city there's a lot of things outside the campus to explore and lot of malls and cinemas nearby which is close enough to go through autos the hostel curfew is 10:30 or 11 and there are like gyms library and cafeteria which are all accessible in the particular timings
