IIIT bhubaneswar - our college

Our course was ETC and I chose it because of core subject and self interest. Comparatively less opportunities and will be good if we work hard.. Frequency exams will be once in a month and projects , quizs will be done frequently and we are also given to take a seminar

Companies will be oracle, Infosys, tech Mahindra, dell technology and roles given will be data base analyser usually. Companies will be given accordingly to which they applied online.. Stipend will be of 25k on an average .

Campus placements will be given to the 7,8 th semester students. Companies are tech Mahindra, Infosys, dell, tiger technologies and some other.. Highest package was given by oracle which was 39 lakh pac per annum Average package will be 8-9 lakh per annum On an average 80-85% will get campus placements. My plan after getting degree was to do my mtech in May be CSE or ECE.

Course fee of 1,20,000 yearly and admission, lab are included in that and registration fee was paid online of 3k. No category wise differences in fee structure. Scholarships were given as per eligibility.

Fests conducted will be tasveer , advaitha , nebulae , kreeda yearly .. The range and accessibility of books in the library were good . All were provided including novels and journals. Grand championship and kreeda were the events in sports and Students are enthusiastic in extracurricular activities and societies will be there from every branch and other societed like photography, film societies..

We have 3 fans and 1 light will be provided in the room with attached washroom. We have wifi facility in the hostel Meal quality was not good in our college and menu was average. Affordablity of hostel was ok.. We can't take rooms outside the campus..

I got NIT seat in mechanical, mining , metallurgy and chemical engineering and some other branches. I have no interest in those courses and then I got ETC in this college so I opted this college over them.

Every subject one teaching professor and 2 lab in charges will be there accordingly for the subject which lab was needed . Faculty was good and friendly and they were also strict during exams. 2 semester exams and 2 mid exams will be conducted. Difficulty level was pretty much that basically depends on the faculty. On an average 7 students will fail to clear the exams...

Gym was well equipped for the students perspective.. 5 canteens were there in campus and they are well organised with maximum availability. Door will be closed and watchmans will be there after 9 but it's not much strict. Hangout places will be there in and around the campus..
