A good place to be.

• Pros : Teaching is good. Classes are good. Provided with all basic amenities in the hostel rooms. • Cons : Mess food can be levelled up. Hostel facilities can be improved. Infrastructure can be improved.

Course structure is pretty good as it competes with major of the leading engineering colleges in our country. The course remains same for 1st year students and in 2nd year your subjects are gonna change according to your stream.

When coming to placements, it is a good place to be. The highest package was 39 lacs/annum in 2017. Alomst all the students here get placed unless and until you are one of those people who never ever have the intention of placements. Majority of students get placed in mass recruiters such as TCS, Wipro etc. while companies such as Dell and Microsoft are here too. Internships here are OK. You can always do internships off campus which is a better choice.

KIIT has always been known for hosting events and parties on a large scale. Recently KIIT Fest took place which was of 3 days. Stars namely Amit Trivedi, Ritviz, Divya Kumar performed here. Last year Nucleya, Armaan Malik were here. Farewells are good here but Freshers are not that good. Participations are not limited. Anyone can take part.

When coming to fee structure, it is pretty expensive when compared to competitive colleges. Currently I am paying 18 lacs for 4 years with mess and hostel fees included. Fee structure is subject to changes.

Scholarships are offered to students scoring under 1k rank in the entrance exam. Even after admission, 10 CGPA holders get scholarships. Loan is provided by the college also. Bank loans are never a problem

Extracurricular activities come in bulk as each hostel has its own SAC (Student Activity Centre) with almost all basic and good sports you can think of. Gym is the most crowded place but due to large number of time slots, you are never gonna feel suppressed.

Hostels are of 4 kinds. 1. ) 3 bedded non-ac : Cheapest and with the most no. of boarders. 2. ) 2 bedded non-ac : Costlier than 3 bedded but in the same hostel with same amenities. 3. ) 3 bedded ac : Much costlier but worth it. 4. ) 2 bedded ac : Costliest with premium features. Food remains the same for all which is better than majority of the colleges.

Seniors are helpful as they organise various events to share problems which are taken into consideration but take time to work upon. Sharing my personal experience, we have a whatsapp group with one of our 4th year senior (I am in 1st year) where we are provided with all the notices and notes.

Admission is based on the entrance exam ranking system. Below 10k rank, you can expect a good branch. Your branch will be allotted to you in the counselling period. It has vast campus and there is much to explore for you in academics field. Placements are good here.

Faculties here themselves from reputed colleges such as IITs and NITs and have good teaching experience. I will not say all of them, but majority of them have helping nature and try to make you learn their stuff in a very effective manner.
