A review about IIIT BBSRkar

the course is somewhat updated with the new age era where technology is evolving very fast. the course almost makes as job ready for industry. but some efforts are tobe given by the student also. the exams happen quite frequently as the semester is close to 4 and half months so we have exam after almost evry 60 days

You are eligible for placements from the third year. Companies like Oracle, DE Shaw, Flipkart, Media.net, Zscaler, and Dell came for placements. 270 offers were made, with a placement percentage of about 80 percent.

The semester fees is approx 86,000 which increases little bit every year and this adds upto about 7.7 lakh in total for four years. caustion money is about 14,000. library andservices fee is about 8000 per semester. hostel fees are about 10,000 per semester. campus utility and establishment charges are about 5500 in 1st year . 7000 in 2nd and 3rd year and 8000 in 4th year.there is placement fee of 2200-2700 varied from 1st to 4th year.the odisha category students can get scholarship based on income and can also apply for state government scholarships. the fees for almost all categories are more or less same

adavita is annual cultural mangement fest of college. tasveer is farewell party for seniors as well as frehers party for juniors. the college library has almost all kinds of books from course books to some other boks. the classroom is well equipped and clean. the facilites in classroom include projecter for presentations. sports is widely encouraged here .

the room has a bed, a study table , a chair, a tube light for three people. each floor has 6 rooms of 3 seaters and 1 room of 4 seater. the meal quality is average with poha, vada,egg, provided in breakfast with non veg like eggs, chicken , fish provided for vegeaterians there are option of paneer in menu. the hostel is alloted to us athe time of physical reporting

i applied for nit jamesdpur civil branch from where i got confirmed admission but due to it being a lower branch i preferred this college as i was getting a better branch here. also i wanted to make it to iiit naya raipur because of lower rank. the admission in my college is through josaa/csab counselling. the reporting date was notified to me through college website from there they told us about the physical reporting date

the faculty to student ratio is approx 1:25. some teachers are very good here while others are okay okay. sabyasachi patra is one of the best teacher here in IIIT. along with shikha vats and lipika das they are very good in their respective teaching fields. some faculties are very strict here also. In a semester, there is a midsem and end sem of 30 and 50 marks respectively along with quiz of 15 marks and 5 marks for teacher assesment. there is a provision of relative grading which applies to students of same branch. exams are mostly based on previous year papers. most of the students are able to clear the exam while depending upon he difficulty of subject about 2-8 people fail in exams . the course curriculum is mostly aligned as per the industry standards but some courses in 1st year are not so important from a engineering perspective

gym is newly made now with better facilities . there is a nescafe, a cafeteria in our college for having snacks and refreshments. the hostel timing is 10 :30 pm and campus timing s 10:00 pm. famous hangout places like shawarma are there . yes it is locally safe to roam at night
