Course Curriculum Overview

5

I personally love the subject and the way it's taught It gives an insight about everything that is going on with our current affairs and also categorizes the old ones The internal exams are of 40 marks max. And 20min. But it is not very difficult but quite interesting to solve Same goes for the papers of 80 marks The faculty is quite good and it teaches in a very well mannared way which makes it more efficient and easier to study The professors give adequate notes for better learning The college has beautiful events and sports curriculum which keeps the student busy and occupied in a fun way outside of studying as well

Internships Opportunities

5

I am not still clear with this topic because I am a fresher I will complete my first semester recently But their lowest internship is 220000 per annum Its not lowest but it not very high this is mainly for Mass Communication I am not very sure about the other courses and their offered stipend

Placement Experience

5

From the 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placement but if anyone does till 4th for research then the placement is given in the 4th semester 90% students get placement because the college prepares the students with their best faculties After getting a degree I want to do my internship for job placement in a news company and write papers and blogs for page 3

5

Admission

I got selected in Shri Shikshayatan and Jadavpur University but St Xavier's College was a lot better opportunity for me and my future Loreto did not accept me because of my marks category I suppose St xavier's college has an admission exam for every course and it's of 40 marks which one needs to pass with 30 atleast

Faculty

5

The Mass communication and Videography has the best faculty , the whole B.Sc faculty is quite good as well We have 8 sem if 4 years and 9 semester if 5 They give the option to complete with research and also without it We have in total 16 exams and all of them have 60% questions for mediocre students and 40% for students with more merit All in all the college campus and the college environment is very student friendly and not unnecessarily strict

Night Life

5

We have a library , two canteens , five halls for programs and events , one sports ground ,one room for Table tennis and carrom playing 1 department for each stream which makes it better to communicate for any doubt

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though the bachelor of science is pursued by someone who wants to research and develop some idea to help the modern world. The primary decision was to contribute to the society like the great scientists who have done so before. The curriculum provides a balanced approach of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, theoretical knowledge from classes, assignments, homeworks and exams. Practical knowledge through the different workshops that are held in the college auditorium or online with successful men of the field who are brought as guests in them, from renowned scientists to great thinkers we have met a lot of them.
