Course Curriculum Overview

In School of engineering the Btech cources are AICTE aproved and having NBA accreditation The syllubus is pretty good comapring to other kearala engineering syllubus and exams are conducted on time we have 2 internal exams and 1 end semester exam

Internships Opportunities

Cusat offfers internship programms in 3rd year it combines hands-on training with various commercial hardware and software tools. The internship can be extended to a six-weeks activity or converted to an opportunity for the final year project

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee structure also includes other components like: library fee, lab fee, caution deposit, and registration fee. The fee for all india merit student is about 55k per semester and 32k per semester for state merit students

Here so many tech fests are happening and its a vibrant campus with so many programms.the clubs under soe was so innovative the clubs are SAE, IEEE, IGBC, NSS, SPACE UP,..so many.these clubs are a verymuch big oppourtunity to improve personal and proffesional skills

I got tki kollam in keam allotment and CAT allotment i got school of engineering ,cusat Iselected cusat I Also searched the details of LPU because some of my friends are ztudying there but thee fee structure was very much high so i took admission in cusat Cusat is a good university in kearla with very good infrastructure and faculties.they give high oppurtunities in reasearch and higher studies

CUSAT has a highly qualified and experienced faculty that provides students with a world-class education. And the faculty members are actively involved in research projects that contribute to significant advancements in their disciplines. They are friendly with students

Night Life

Gym ,cafterias ,librarys are provided the library time is 6am to 11pm S Hostel time for both girls and boys are 11pm.Inside of campus there are always security guards are there so it is safe to roam in night

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.

Why choose CUSAT

I was a dropper student but didn't prepare well for JEE. I barely qualified mains and appeared for the advanced but did not clear it. Being a general candidate, I got very few colleges but did not want to compromise the branch. I wanted to pursue Computer Science. CUSAT conducts its own entrance exam CAT which includes questions on PCM with more weightage given to maths.
