Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is structured into 8 semesters ,advanced syllabus and prepare us to the current global senario and they are constantly improving it. they provide great placements and support for the students

Class Size: 111Course Fees: INR 55580 per year

Internships Opportunities

The curriculum is set in the way that each student gets real life experiences, there is mandatory internship in each even semesters and students have to do it as a part in their semester and they are evaluated accordingly

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for campus placements from sixth semester onwards ,so many companies visit the campus and recruit. Some of them are cognizant,tcs,wipro etc majority of the students are getting good placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for state merit is around 33 thousand per sem and for all india merit is about 55 thousand per sem,The fees for st,sc,oec is 1500 , the state merit students can avail E grantz scholarship of state government

Campus Life

The annual tech fest of the college is known as dishna but it had been withheld due to unseen circumstances that happened last year . But the college has many other programs and more clubs to join and sports facilities

Admission

I applied to kerala technological university colleges and got accepted into Tkm college of engineering kollam ,chemical engineering.But i choose cusat because of the university thing and value of certificate over ktu

Faculty

Most of the faculties are contract or guest lecturers, For information technology department the faculties are good and very supporting , the sylabbus is bit tough and very new (2023 scheme).But the pass percentage is very high

the course , the first year its easy syllabus , its just basics based on what you learned in high school , but in a more advanced way. the only flaw in the curriculm is the lack of application level questions all the exams are just theory based questions

Replacement process at Amrutha amruthapuri has a strong reputation especially in technology related feels like cyber security ,computer science ,and information technology. Students typically become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester .however the placement team encourages students to start preparing from the second year onwards by improving skills and participating in internships ,hackathons and coding competitions to improve their profiles Companies that visited for placements. 1. AMAZON 2. ACCENTURE 3. COGNIZANT 4. INFOSYS 5. WIPRO 6. CISCO 7. IBM 8. TECH MAHINDRA 9. SAMSUNG R&D 10. TCS Still more Highest salary package of cyber security graduate at at amruthapuri is typically around 15 to 25 lacs per annum for roles in global tech chain such as Amazon, Cisco. Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

My journey at CUSAT: A students perspective

I also wrote KEAM exam along with CUSAT in which I was able to secure a rank well enough to get Mechanical Engineering in CET, Trivandrum which I got in allotment. But since my mind was already set to take ECE as my degree due to my interest and passion for electronics and computers. And yes I do recomment CUSAT to everyone. To join CUSAT you have to write the CUSAT CAT entrance exams and then the seat are allotted based on the rank you earn in the entrance examinations. And usually a rank around 1k can get you CS, 1.5k can get you ECE and SFE, 2k can get you IT, 3.5k can get you EE and 7k can get you ME and CE....Read More
