Campus of the college is very wide and scenic
The teachers are very knowledgeable ever.
The roads and infrastructure are very nice

There is very small bit of ragging like everywhere
There are large number of cows and all roaming
The auditorium is closed for now so less shows

Course Curriculum Overview

The course Curriculum in relative to other university Curriculums is very updated and comprehensive in terms of syllabus and theory and practical workshops. So there is less to care and be tension about the curriculum.

Japanese government internship called meti offers great positions and other resources which really help us push our way through the applicant tracking system and get our post very easily and prosper .

Placement Experience

The placements here are very broad and widespread. We have a large number of capable and essential industrial companies that visit here to place our students so if we can or have the capability to perform well, we are much likely to get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise will come to around ?1,10,000 as I have gone for All India Merit seat. There isn't any caution fees, and for registration fees was around ?1700 and lab fees etc are covered in the tuition fees. For State merit seat the fees was 50,000.

Campus Life

The campus life is very vibrant and exciting as there are a lot number of clubs and social activities and more than advocate number of open air shows hosted in our campus show which makes us very social and active

Admission

The reason I choose this college over other colleges was this had a very prestigious Pedigree going over and was worth spending four years and money over here as it was an investment and offers placements in very big companies

Faculty

The faculty are very nice and understandable. They are also very knowledgeable. They clear our doubts with Is and try to get the best out of our Academy excellence. They provide us with the notes and all and the assignments at the time which we are very comfortable on.

But because the college is autonomous they say the autonomous batch will have a 50% placement

the course , the first year its easy syllabus , its just basics based on what you learned in high school , but in a more advanced way. the only flaw in the curriculm is the lack of application level questions all the exams are just theory based questions

Students typically become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester .however the placement team encourages students to start preparing from the second year onwards by improving skills and participating in internships ,hackathons and coding competitions to improve their profiles Companies that visited for placements. 1. Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

My journey at CUSAT: A students perspective

I also wrote KEAM exam along with CUSAT in which I was able to secure a rank well enough to get Mechanical Engineering in CET, Trivandrum which I got in allotment. But since my mind was already set to take ECE as my degree due to my interest and passion for electronics and computers. And yes I do recomment CUSAT to everyone. To join CUSAT you have to write the CUSAT CAT entrance exams and then the seat are allotted based on the rank you earn in the entrance examinations.
