The Cochin University of science and technology is one of the best Universities in India. The facilities they are providing and also the topics and practical labs facilities are so good. It provides better placements

The teaching methods are so good.The are so many modern systems and practical labs in the university to provide better education facilities . Also the faculty system is so good and there are so many faculties

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are according to state or all India or NRI merit.The fee structure for state merit is less according to other merits. The fee structure is affordable. For students with other reservations fees are almost free

Campus Life

There are so many clubs available in the campus. Students can join these clubs according to their interest. There are so many sports activities available here. The library has a collection of lot of books

Faculty

The faculties are always available. There are so many faculties available according to each subjects . The exams are good . The topics are little bit tough. But the faculties gave the questions according to the exams

Night Life

There are so many hangout places near campus. Shopping malls , couple parks , Marine drive , amusement parks , beach , etc .The hostel facilities are so much affordable inside and outside the campus.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

My journey at CUSAT: A students perspective

I also wrote KEAM exam along with CUSAT in which I was able to secure a rank well enough to get Mechanical Engineering in CET, Trivandrum which I got in allotment. But since my mind was already set to take ECE as my degree due to my interest and passion for electronics and computers. And yes I do recomment CUSAT to everyone. To join CUSAT you have to write the CUSAT CAT entrance exams and then the seat are allotted based on the rank you earn in the entrance examinations. And usually a rank around 1k can get you CS, 1.5k can get you ECE and SFE, 2k can get you IT, 3.5k can get you EE and 7k can get you ME and CE....Read More
