Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is very demanding with around 40 subjects to be studied across 2 years alongside preparing for SIP and finals, case competitions and live project This has to bring along great time management skills.
Internships Opportunities
All the major companies offer a gamut of roles, including but not limited to finance, marketing, sales, operations, product management, consulting, HR. The stipend average was 1.5 Lakh per month for out batch and the premium roles were offered
Placement Experience
Placements are 100 percent in the college- both finals and summer internships Majorly all companies come to XL- yet some companies are still to open for finals for XL Delhi Final avg CTC is around 25 Lakh for Bm And avg Internship stipend is 1.5 Lakh
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees- INR 30 Lakh ( Paid in 4 installments across 2 years) All included fees- Tution, hostel, library Personal expenses, mess fees of 6000 per month and ac fees extra at actuals Many scholarships opportunities open.
Campus Life
There are 30 plus committees and interest group with all domains- co curricular like mark, strategy, finance Extracurricular like CII Yi- Industry committee and Dracula- Dramatics, sports committee etc
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities in college is great with just 4 year old hostels- being relatively new. There is a bed, table chair and wardrobe given and the AC installed. Hostel is compulsory and included in fees. Mess fees is 6k per month with average food and rotating menu
Admission
XLRI brand is the oldest in terms of B school in India and this college is at par with most of old IIMs Getting into XLRI is tough with acceptance of 600 students from 1 Lakh plus who appear in XAT exam and subsequently clear GD PI
Faculty
With various facilities across all verticals namely fin, mark, ops, Hr and tech, the faculty are good yet some of the delhi faculty is not available like the jsr campus. Exam components include quiz, projects, end term Some students do fail.
Interview Experience
There was no Group discussion during the process of our batch but they have recently started with that and topics are related to current affairs. The personal interview is tough with a panel of faculty members asking about work ex
Night Life
The night life in college is extremely different from what is outside the college. The tendency of students to pull all nighters is usual- be it for exam, for preps or simply chit chat and parties. Outside the college is dead scene.
