The course curriculum is very well set. The first year is common for all the students in which all the basic subjects of finance, marketing, operations are taught. In the second year, the students are given an option to choose their electives, i.e., The subject they want to major in. The exams primarily come from classroom teachings, and the teachings are majorly based on case based studies.

Admission
XLRI is the oldest B-School in the country. I gave CAT, XAT and NMAT and converted a few new and baby IIMs from CAT and NMIMS, Mumbai from NMAT. XLRI was my last convert yet my best one. With terms of ranking, it was undoubtedly the best choice to make and I went for it.
Faculty
There are various faculties for all the verticals, namely, finance, marketing, operations, HR, etc. Most of the faculties stay in the college itself, making it easier to reach out at all times. There are multiple evaluation criteria, such as quizzes, midterm, end term, projects and group activities. Though most of the students will clear the exam, it is really competitive.
Interview Experience
During my selection process, there was no GD round, but a PI was completely on the basis of my work experience and the points on my CV. Current affairs was also tested. During the Junior years selection, GD was also a mandate, and there were several business case topics on which they were evaluated on. One can prepare his/her own CV for the PI and be up-to-date with the current affairs to add inputs in the GD.
