Remarks

The process was great overall. There was a XAT exam which was followed by a rigorous process of personal interviews coupled with various other steps to be taken. Any UG (Last year) or completed is can apply. No reservations. Forms can be found on the official page of XLRI

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was selected because it gave me the required knowledge and industry experience required to stand out from the crowd. There were around 60 students in each class. Each faculty at least had a Ph.D. and was very qualified to teach us.

Internships Opportunities

The summer internship is a mandatory thing in this business school. The placement committee makes sure that every student on the campus lands an internship. The two-month internships are extremely important for the overall understanding of things.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good, with 100% of students getting placed with packages at par with the other top business schools around India. Consult, prodman and marketing roles are in demand and more than 100 companies visit each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 27 lakh for two years which is in line with the top institutes around the world. There are various scholarships most of which are offered on the basis of merit and competition. People can also win corporate case comps to earn extra money

Campus Life

The campus life is great. Filled with fun events all throughout the year. There are regional communities as well which organize festivities on any special day. The infra is a state of the art as the campus is very new.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel here is new and great. Single rooms are given to each student with all the basic amenities. The hostel is very close to the academic block thus making it easy for the student to travel to and fro. The meal is decent too and is provided by an external vendor.

Interview Experience

No group discussion. Had an interview. For preparation I enrolled myself in a local institution named galvanizing potential, that really helped me prepare well, and was very happy to get into the coveted college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum combines the theory as well as practical subjects. The course includes projects and assignements based on the different tools like excel, Power BI, Python, SQL. The course assignments and projects take place in the end of the trimesters for most of the subjects which make it quite hectic to submit them for some subjects overlapping each other.

GLIM Placements start from the beginning of 2nd year as till then we are also done with our intenrships. Also, placements here are lesser than that of Chennai but still median of GLIM is around 15 lakhs which is much better than other B-Schools of NCR.

First at XLRI Delhi

Good Aspects: Faculty, Peers, Course Curriculum, Brand new state of the art infrastructure. Bad Aspects: Recently established so it is relatively unknown to many people and companies. Admission Process: Primary shortlist happens through a XAT entrance test that takes place in January, followed by a GD and PI round that happens in March. We are the first batch of the college so there was a sense of fear in everyone, but post SIP's, we know we are in good hands and the batch would do good in upcoming years. XLRI is among one of the oldest brand names in India, decided to open a new campus with the same curriculum & professors, combined placements, combined SIPs.
