Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum combines the theory as well as practical subjects. The course includes projects and assignements based on the different tools like excel, Power BI, Python, SQL. The course assignments and projects take place in the end of the trimesters for most of the subjects which make it quite hectic to submit them for some subjects overlapping each other.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fee structure was fourteen lakhs for the two year full time PGDM program at SOIL. The fee payment was divided into three parts across the two years time, first at the time of admission and then after the initiation of the program.
Campus Life
Different events on campus are organized like design thinking fest, diwali mela, sales challenge. Also are were differnet clubs and academies. The infrastrure needs improvement according to the batch size.
Admission
SOIL acceptes the score of around all the MBA exams like CAT,XAT,CMAT and NMAT. It has design thinking embedded in the curriculum which is unique to study and explore. It has profile and exam score based eligibility. There were three rounds in the admission process, Group discussion,group exercise,final interview.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is low but the faculties are approachable and quite helpful. The course structure is trimester based, there are total of six trimesters during the 2 year course. The exams are divided between the theory and practical modes based on the subjects and they are of moderate level.
Night Life
Location of the campus is not as good. The campus is located near the industrial area of manesar.The college does not have any hostel facility within the campus. Needs to improve the quality as well as the prices of the food in cafeteria.
