Mithibai- the decision is yours

The course pattern followed here is strictly based on the New Education Policy(NEP 2020). The syllabus is relevant and not at all a burden to study. This course also offers a real experience of working on projects and preparing various slides all by ourselves.

The yearly fees for my course is 72,720. This fees does not increase abruptly every year. There are various concessions for different communities like SC, ST, OBC, Gujarati minority.

Mithibai is known for its cultural events and they surely are something to be excited for. Every department have their own departmental fears but the KSHITIJ Fest is where entire college participates and students witness big personalities/ singers too. Kshitij takes place in December/January. The library has a wide range of study and reading material for everyone to refer to and also has a very easy borrowing and returning practice for books available.

I liked how this college will play a role in enhancing my interest in research field. The admission process is simply based on the merit of HSC scores. No interview round or discussions are required. The intake number of this college are great making it fair for everyone applying for the same irrespective of their community and state they belong to. I always wanted to come to Maharashtra for pursuing my bachelors but unfortunately in most of the colleges the Marathi or in house students are given leniency and

The faculty for each course and department are well distributed. The faculty-student relationship is great because of their helpful nature. The teaching methods are interactive by using teachniques like Flip classrooms and use of YouTube videos for visual and in depth learning. The internal class tests for major(3 credit) subjects are 3 in total out of which best 2 are considered. There are 2 class tests for minor(2-credit) subjects from which the average score is considered. These class tests take place every 10-15 days. The odd semester end exams take place during October/november. The even semester end exams take place around April.

The college is situated very near to the vile Parle stations making it quite easy to take a local and just go somewhere to chill with friends. The college canteen and bakery itself serves delicious and very affordable food and snacks. The college does not offer any hostel facility but there are numerous hostels and pgs available around the college at a walking distance.
