West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. I scored 1300 out ot 1.5 lacs students. This is government college with less fee and good reputation.

Course is organised by WBUT and is quite good considering practical experience.

College lacks in this department and students have to arrange their internships on their own. Students prefer and referred by the teacher to join government organisation.

Placement are organised in a lot of industries. TCS is our main employer employing more than 200 students each year. Some state government organisation also recruited from the campus.

TechfiestaDurga pujaSome other puja.All students as well as locals are invited to join.In techfiesta students of all college are invited to join and some exhibition of their products are also organised. Different games are also organized.

Fee is quite low compared to others. Only 3000 per semester compared to 40000 of others college.Mess charges are 2000 including rent.Being government institution most of the charges are born by government.

All students are eligible for caste cum marks scholarships.Government as well as private scholarship are also provided.

Gender ratio is different in different department. Overall 2 boys to 1 girl ratio is there.Hostel parties Are organised frequently and non hostelite are also invited.Frequent workshop on machine and technical studies are organised. Certificate are given to those who join.No discrimination is there between students. Quite easy to pass your college life of 4 year without trouble and a lot of support from faculties and students. Some visiting place are in kalyani which are good to spend time.

Hostel facilities are cheap but not that good. But in 2nd year students organized their mess also and it helps in providing good quality food and facilities.

Senior s are supportive and i got a lot of help in switching job from them. Alumni meet is organised each year. Most of those who are in industry for more than 20 years also join this ald donate to college fund.

Exam organized by WBUT and is good with duration. Pattern is quite easy. So students can join extracurriculars also.

Faculties as selected through government organised SSC exam and are highly qualified. Some of industries best are also called to teach students and give them practical aspects of industry.
